I updated the thread OP since it kind of outlived the original intention and we might as well keep it around for future events such as the ESA marathon that starts next month.

Almost every 'woman' runner last time was trans that I saw except for the girl who did DS3 and she was great to watch. And I honestly wonder how much salt she caused because she was not only very impressive at Souls, she was quite pretty and petite too. She made all those trannies look like Shrek in comparison.

I'm hoping there is some Souls runners this year cuz no matter how many times I watch them, Souls speedruns are always good.

To avoid confusion with the other speedrunning thread in CW I added a bit to the OP that clarifies how that thread is for individual runners without their own threads and miscellaneous happenings in the speedrun scene, and that marathon-specific discussion should be taken here.

Kungfufruitcup (the red & orange-haired girl unfortunately being used as a barometer to compare Protomagicalgirl against) is a natal woman, as is Skybilz. Both of them are quite nice people and it's sad to see them being dragged into this bullshit and used as part of the jokes at the expense of GDQ's genuinely unsavory people. :(
 
I really don't understand the logic of having a full console bundle (Switch, Xbone X, PS4 Pro and a complete gaming PC) be a $150 donation incentive. If you have enough disposable income to throw that much at a human trafficking charity, you probably have at least one of these consoles and a beefy personal computer at home anyway. Having two of them is more than enough, it's a bit silly to lump them all in one prize.
