What are your thoughts on the Speakonia community A.K.A the Barney Bunch on YouTube?

For those who don't know; the Barney Bunch started off on Newgrounds about the mid 2000's as a try hard troll group who would spam the site with crude flash videos of various cartoon character's saying very lewd and homosexual related things. Newgrounds eventually banned them where they continued to spread to other sites.

They eventually spread to YouTube where they began uploading videos. The most common videos uploaded is the Drew Pickles goes to style.

DrewPicklesTheDark formerly known as Mr Captain Jeff seems to be the major contributor to the Speakonia community. He was a key player in a chimpout in the Speakonia Ccmmunity. Holy shit, this awakened memories that I had long buried deep inside of my mind.
 
Oh my god I remember when these kids were a new thing. I think they were like, five steps removed as a Clock Crew spin/rip-off. They took the format of StrawberryClock's "________'s Secret" flash cartoon and butchered it into a mess. They also stole the use of the adjective "swell" from Star Syndicate. I also recall none of the active NewGrounds "crews" wanting anything to do with the Barney Bunch.

I may or may not have made some of these videos when I was a young, dumb 13-year-old.
 
Now, admittedly the Barney Bunch is a guilty pleasure. But who are these guys and what's their shtick? Well, I'm so glad you asked.

The Barney Bunch is a former Newgrounds trolling group-turned to video web series by the many exceptional individuals on the net. Basis? Well, they take famed cartoon and puppet characters and make them really, really gay and do crude and out-of-character things like rape every single little thing remotely possible, and most BB videos, namely Drew Pickles ones are filled with vulgar language, gratuitous toilet and sexual humor, racial stereotypes, satire among others. Sounds funny and clever, right? Yes...and no.

Yes in the sense that the videos can be a hoot for feeding a guilty pleasure or need a pick-me-up after a emotionally tiring day, and no in that the fanbase can be very, very spergy. Many feuds, sperg-outs and lots more have been documented, some even hating their videos due to the repeated, banal nature of "Drew rapes, poops, kills women", blah blah blah bullshit.

I made this because some of the CLG logo users wanted one of these threads, and well...I'm courteous to do so.
 
Like I guess if I were younger I'd find it funny. I just don't find taking 90's TV and making them filthy (for lack of a better term) particularly amusing. But whatevs, I've found that humor to be pretty subjective.

So what exactly do the fanbase sperg out about? Shit seems fairly straightforward.

Not as much as I thought. There's some drama here and there, tho the CLG peeps were demanding a thread like this and I'm not a expert on BB sperginess. I really wouldn't care if this thread gets locked, because at this point the BB is just unfunny wierdos with nothing better to do.

Geez, if you guys thought Barney Bunch as bad (and they are, though I have to laugh at how stupid it is). There's plenty of other videos out there that use these speech synthesis voices. For instance:
 
These videos could be worse. Instead of Speakonia, it could be the voices of spergy 13 year olds.
