Cant wait until the 2D animated parts, the stuff you DO remember from the original, be rather brief compared to the CGI genetic fest. I was legit wishing to see 2D animation make a comeback but given how CG is just "that" much cheaper, its always aparently best to go with that, even if it looks generic most of the time, just this dull semi-realistic style.

The only joke that touched my cold dark pit of a heart was the "Shoot the ball" one, the rest...fuck...all these cameos ala Ready Player One, right down to the Iron Giant.

That legit pisses me off, that and the Iron Giant cameos. Warner loves to remind us Iron Giant existed but its not popular thanks to them, in fact, the movie bombed thanks to their constant boycotting so it feels rather superficial that now Warner loves to act like the Iron Giant is this precious character of their library NOW that he is a cult classic character.

Oh also are we ignoring Granny just broke Basketball rules by kicking the basketball to the hoop? Those points should be nullified. I know that I shouldnt expect realistic basketball (cuz honest to god that sport is boring as fuck to watch) but still, its rather a basic rule to break, its like throwing a soccer ball with your hands when you arent the goal keeper.

They picked the wrong movie to relaunch. Looney Tunes: Back in Action would've been a better concept to revisit, especially with COVID.

Sometimes I feel like the only person that doesnt hate that movie, even tho it was far more entertaining and true to Looney Tunes than Space Jam itself. I legit dont get what people expected with that movie, it wasnt amazing but it did have some legit funny moments.

>Kingdom Hearts-style planets
>Westeros planet with ring that says Game of Thrones
>Gandalf
>King Kong
>Superman
>Serververse

True fanfic-tier cringe. The weird mix of traditional and flash animation is gratingly noticeable too to the point where the animated scenes look like something for a made-for-tv movie. And it looks like the leaks were mostly true andDon Cheadle really doesn't make for a compelling villain at all... And the Goon Squad of mutated basketball players look even worse than the MonStars.

There's some disturbing uncanny valley shit going on. Overall this looks like Ready Player One garbage all over again but somehow even more irksome.

The only thing I find more odd is the fact that they let Yosemite Sam keep his guns for some reason and that Lola actually seems to have tits in this one. Just wtf is going on?

Also from the last few seconds, it looks like Game of Thrones assholes are in the crowd alongside ThunderCats, Blue Falcon, Dynomutt, a Flying Monkey, and... the fucking psycho droogs from Clockwork Orange?!

Literal rapists are allowed but Pepe Le Pew isn't?
Yeah that is mess up that pe Le Pew is considered offensive, yet rapist characters in a children's movie that orginally came form a non childern movie is OK. In all fairness it's form Hollywood where Dumbo is offensive, yet forcing a 6 year old in a sex change is OK. So what you expect.

Yeah no, I can't finish this trailer. Soon as LeBron went all toon, I went "I'm peacing out." Gross.
Doesn't help that the animation director for this movie is the same guy who directed Tom and Jerry: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

lol

"Veteran Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies director Chuck Jones was critical of the film. In a 1998 interview, he expressed his views that the film was "terrible" and said, as a man who worked with the characters for almost thirty years, the story was deeply flawed. "I can tell you, with the utmost confidence," he said, "Porky Pig would never say 'I think I wet myself.'" Jones also added that, had the film been more true to the source material, Bugs Bunny would not have enlisted the help of Jordan or the other Looney Tunes characters to defeat the Monstars "and moreover, it wouldn't have taken him an hour and a half. Those aliens, whether they were tiny or colossal, would've been dealt with in short order come the seven minute mark.""

I'm starting to wonder if all those Pooh's Adventures autists invaded Hollywood.

Edit: Just noticed T-posing Space Ghost hovering above King Kong in the preview. Jesus Christ this movie.

It's weird that these huge multi-media corporations have to keep showing us what entertainment properties they legally own in films. It's a very strange flex that the CONSOOM crowd seems to eat up. Funny enough Toho and Universal beat these fuckers to the EU punch 60+ years before any of them attempted it, and in a classier manner.

That's basically what all of this is but with an easily consoomable plot in the vein of Pooh's Adventures faggotry. The only positive thing I can say is that this movie might actually be more enjoyable while drunk or stoned than Ready Player One.

I hate that we live in a world that has such a lack of shame that someone posted this.
I'm not even sure what the furfag is whining about. In the new trailer it looks like they backtracked and somehow gave her tits. Yet Pepe and Speedy still can't get a pass while Clockwork Orange can.
