If you are going to make a shitty sequel, at least use the personality of Lola Bunny from the New Looney Toons. At least she fits the crazy world of the Looney Toons better, unlike the bland furry from the original movie. Who I'm kidding, of course they're gonna use the Lola Bunny from the original. Who do you think this movie is made for?

Imagine all the salt that could be generated if they used Looney Toons Show Lola. The Mary Sue website alone would be reeeeeing from them not using the bland, better than the boys one.

James also noted to THR that when he was growing up, there were no black superheroes.

Oof. Talk about ignorant. There were already black superheroes back when LeBron was growing up, he just didn't bother to hit up comic book stores. Black Panther first appeared in 1966. Luke Cage in 1972. And if LeBron is too "cool" to hit up comic book stores, there's always Shaq's Steel, which hit theaters in 1997, and Wesley Snipes' Blade in 1998. For someone who's trying to add media properties to his portfolio, LeBron is showing himself to be stupid when it comes to the industry he wants in on (or at least trying to tap into SJW revisionist history where the Black Panther is the first black superhero film ever).

They should digitally insert Kobe Bryant as the lead. That will play well with audiences.

You joke, but an early 2000s Space Jam sequel starring Kobe would have made crazy money. He's the only one that had anything close to the cult of personality Jordan had.

I hope this new info isn't true... Part of me wouldn't mind it too much, but... Nu-Pennywise? Fuck...

I know Tim Curry can't voice him, but its not like he would need any dialogue anyway. Or just give him a good impersonator. Curry's portrayal deserves more.

I just came up with the best worst idea ever for Universal now...

Their horror monsters must team up and form a baseball team to stop some other property they have stewing in their vaults. Make it a whacky comedy and hell, have their coaches be Abbot and Costello impersonators for maximum brain hemmorhage.

Go all in on stupid. Why not.

I've read none of this thread but I just wanted to drop by and say anyone who encourages this nostalgia-baiting crap deserves a month or loose, wet, bowel movements.

Don't encourage this behavior from these companies. They quit making Crocodile Dundee movies so it's obvious they don't know how to run a franchise.
