This a counter-part thread to the Best Korea Megathread here:

Here's hopefully what will be a repository for their Southern neighbors here, as well as to trash talk or rant about them in general if that's your thing.

South Korea President Lee Jae-myung is getting into bed with the Bill Gates foundation, and took this unsightly picture of him that makes him look like he has Down Syndrome:

President Lee and his Democratic Party of Korea is also taking a page out of the US Democratic Party by pushing to combat "fake news". / Archive

And ATMs in South Korea are seeing a significant decline in usage, which is literally screaming that SK wants to go fully cashless at some point. / Archive

South Korea can just fix their demographic issues by remigrating in Korean Americans, and taking in North Koreans as population replacement.

They should go full eugenicist as well, and get their geniuses to become sperm/egg donors. Then tell all the Koreans that they can raise genius kids as fertility clinics has lots of genius embryos. And those geniuses will make their parents rich with their high income careers! They will breeze through the education system early just fine too.

i have unreleasable hatred towards worst korea
they somehow manifested the culture that creates the most souless humans on earth
i think the most blood boiling thing to me is they eagerness to shape their face because of a trend of the week which is absolutely diabolic
every time someone mentions south korea this image pops into my head

Are those ribs?

Kids there don't have time to play or have fun once they hit the age of 8; it's school for 16 hrs+ a day after that.
Sometimes I think that it's a proper thing and that toys and playtime are a sign of societal weakness. Maybe we are supposed to be like that. The weak fall of the train and train, those who remain are stong enough to move the train. I don't know.

No, that's retarded. You HAVE to play with your peers else you'd become an autist that can't do teamwork or explain things.

All the Asian countries are like that, hard as ball education that outputs wage slaves and little else. The education system in the USA may be worse, but having the freedom to fail and play games achieves the forefront of technology.

While the current state of Japan and South Korea are somewhat similar, South Korea is way worse with their societal issues. Japan has a growing far right, is generally avoiding a lot of stupidity, and anytime Japan does something stupid South Korea does sometime 10 times more stupid. Not to mention that South Korea has a toxic feminist culture whereas feminism is almost non existent in Japan. The only thing I’ll give South Korea credit for is that they handled Johnny Somali way better than Japan did. Regardless though South Korea is at major risk of becoming cooked. I will watch this thread with great interest.

Seems like a nice place to visit, wouldn't like to live there though.
I was supposed to study abroad in South Korea before the whole pandemic broke out. Heard really good things about visiting, but living didn't sound fun. Would still love to see the DMZ, but god, they are fucked on gender relations.

I visited it twice, with the combined time being 2 months. It is a great place to visit, with lots to do. But if I were to live there I'd probably end up throwing myself into the Han river within a year or two.
