I'd take the guy with the anime avatar over the faggot who waste time complaining about a game because a girl is "too sexy". At least the guy with the anime avatar actually plays the games he talks about and probably knows how to have fun, instead of virtue signaling and whining like a pussy. Also, he's probably less likely to be a sex offender than the guy whining about anime boobs.

I'm going to be honest, I don't think either of them actually get all that far into the games. But they both probably have an equal chance at being a sex offender

Video games is a visual medium. I would say that there's always a place for female chars like 2B and there's a place for female chars like the one from Forspoken. But guys like this just think that sexualized female characters should not exist at all, because "muh realism" and "it's overly distractive". Which is a one-sided malicious thing that hurts image of women for both sexes. That isn't right, people shouldn't agree with that.

There's no connection. First guy is a malicious douche, who could shut his hole if he didn't like something instead of spewing his bullshit. Second is just an anti-censorship dude, who doesn't own a Soyny product. And seeing how Soyny censorship policies actively spreading through these years, he has a full right to do so.

Nah, history has shown that its always the wannabe male feminists, white knights, and "male allies" that are the real perverts and sex fiends in the end, the biggest complainers regarding sexuality and fan service are always the biggest hypocrites.

Honestly I'm flabbergasted that you seem to think N64 was more popular than Playstation. Everyone I knew hated N64 and the games on it outside of Goldeneye when I was a kid. It sucked cause I had an N64 and nobody ever wanted to play anything but Goldeneye on it. Meanwhile Playstation was the cool console and everyone was always going on and on about how great Syphon Filter, Crash, Spyro, Jet Moto, Medieval, etc. etc. were.

It's almost like just because you hang out with Nintendo fanboys doesn't mean Sony sucked until 6 years ago.

Most people who are open fetishists are big about consent. They want their hobby to be safe and consensual for all involved. And, hey, he likes anime boobs for their own sake and his own interests; he's doesn't shame others for having boobs he doesn't appreciate.

The policy hasn't gotten bigger though, they have it function the same way Steam's censorship policy does. It occasionally rears it's head due to arcane circumstances, but the overwhelming vast majority of games don't get affected by it. Microsoft has a similar policy too, but that also entailed a strike rule where if enough games were needed censoring, the dev wound up being banned from Microsoft's platform. This was already put into place where microsoft purged a ton of VNs from their platform.

There's also the fact that these policies are still incredibly lax to what existed back in the 90's. At this point there's no crusade of government interventionalists looking for opportunities to enrich themselves.

Been contemplating on whether or not I'd consider getting a PS4 from a coworker because the only game I want to play is Gravity Rush 2 because I loved the original on Vita so much but Sony pisses me off so much with their ass backwards thinking. Something that's been on my mind has been the somewhat recent issue regarding the CMOS battery 'bricking' your PS4/PS5 once it goes kaput. This ain't as egregious as say the cheap chinese capacitors on the early run of Original Xboxes that are slowly but surely destroying hundreds upon hundreds of motherboards as I type this, afterall the CMOS can be replaced, but it bothers the fuck out of me how close they were to essentially making it so your console is unusable and you'd have to just buy the new consoles and stop playing the old ones goiym >:))))
If it had just made it so digital games weren't accessible I'd just say it's scummy but the fact you can't even play disc based games if it dies is down right retarded.

You just connect the console to wifi or an ethernet cable once the CMOS battery is replaced and your digital games work again.

Every major company has it's own time synchronizing site. That's all it has to connect to, you don't need PSN or a PS+ membership.

Considering that people already can successfully spoof the console to download older patches of games from your computer(and this is without any custom firmware). Even in worst case scenario where nothing on the corporate level works and Sony is long out of business, you would just need to have it run through your computer to get it started again. I mean geez multiplayer games that had their servers officially ended have been able to be revived through fan made servers and that was a far bigger undertaking because you have to get around PSN itself.

I'm aware, of this. Maybe I'm just dumb but I always think too far into the future where the PS4 network finally goes down and that central server it connects to is no longer in service for it to bypass the CMOS battery check. Granted I bet even a retard like me can replace the battery if and when a time like that arrives, it's more so a pet peeve than anything that it's even an issue at all, although the spoof method you mentioned just goes to show how much I love modding communities. I feel like a lot of my negativity towards this is how comfortable I am with older systems just working out of the box (outside of special cases like the original XBox having faulty capacitors I mentioned or I believe it was the CDI having a chip that once it dies will essentially kill the system unless replaced which is a lot harder of a repair to attempt). The only modern console I own currently is the Switch but for the longest I never buy into game consoles early on mostly because I like to wait for price drops and revisions improving aspects of early models. I'm also more of PC guy anyways so if I buy a 'newer' console it's usually because enough games on it are released that interest me enough to buy into it, especially if a lot of the games I want start going down in price. CMOS battery issue is far from the worst thing Sony has done that's pissed me off and certainly not detracting me from possibly scoring one new in the box from a coworker of mine, it's just a weird tick in my brain that gets disgusted that it's an issue at all.

CMOS batteries being inside consoles isn't anything new, the Sega Saturn had one and due to it's design would drain power in it far more quickly than the norm. Once the battery died all your save data was wiped. The batteries for the saturn lasted around 2 years on average, and it's why everyone who owns a saturn gets an action replay or a soft modded action replay, because that acts as a memory card to preserve your save data when it happens.

Steam's policy is mind-numbingly stupid because of how utterly inconsistent it is. Sony's policy is quite consistent in what games it targets, and what it does and does not consider objectional. And Sony's policy is far more restrictive than Steam's.

They've banned the developer of Super Seducer from publishing on their platform. Considering the state of the e-shop their policy is to just have no oversight when it comes to having upkeep. More or less it's not an ideological stance but the moment something brings them bad press they'll get rid of the offending games quickly.

Sony's policy is more or less related to underage girls or girls that appear underage, it's the same as Steam's. They're both on par with each other on what they target. Steam got rid of Evenicle 2 because of what was featured in there, and Evenicle is something that had actual gameplay. VNs in general are treated with suspicion across the board due to them being heavily regarded as shovelware.
