Before any more Asha glaze, I will kindly remind you that she tried to import a ton of indians with Visas. She didn't fire the incompetent to clean house, she fired them to bring more migrants.
Good, they do the best tech support so I imagine they'll be good at running Xbox. You ever watch some street shitters youtube video on how to fix something? No ads, no bull shit, it takes the punjabi about 30 seconds to explain what to do.
I like that kind of efficiency. I'll trade an efficient Indian for a fat faggot DEI hire any day of the week.

After Sony recently argued in court that “reasonable consumers” understand they don't actually own their digital games, people have started compiling every example they can find where PlayStation used language suggesting otherwise. The Consumer Rights Wiki has now documented dozens of examples of Sony using phrases like “games you own” and “you already own” across PlayStation's own websites and services :story:

Sony says gamers don't own their digital purchases, but 44 examples of its own wording suggest otherwise

The Indians that come to companies are never the tech-wizs. It is always the scammers that shit in public and can't code for shit that they hire. India has fallen.

Really a solid analogy.
Because that actually happened during The Seven Year Itch.

The end result: Konami's insane fracas with pachinko machines, and all of its franchises being left, functionally, to rot in the hands of studios that had no business touching its IPs, as well as functionally driving Kojima out after the Silent Hills debacle.
That explains Metal Gear Survive.

This is the actual important fight in games ownership. The spergout over physical discs was nice for some virtue signal points, but if ownership can't be enforced on a software level, it doesn't matter how many discs you choose to buy.

A good chunk of the game is Raiden insisting that he's a badass because he played Solid Snake's iconic missions in VR, and Snake repeatedly telling him that playing a video game isn't the same as being him, it makes you kind of lame and gay.
Which is completely subverted by the end when it's revealed that Raiden actually does have substantial combat experience, having been a child soldier, and he didn't, up until then, remember any of it.
Raiden is you, the player. You play as Raiden because the whiny, dorky Raiden who thinks video games are real is a fitting representative of the average MGS fan. You are denied the ability to play as Snake to drive home that you aren't Snake. You're a whiny twink.
Spoken like somebody who only ever played the English version. Raiden was never meant to be a 'whiny dork'. He looks pretty but Kojima had Kenyu Horiuchi, who was the Japanese dub actor for Brad Pitt and Charlie Sheen and he's played plenty of other traditionally masculine heroes (and also he played Rapeman), voice him to drive home the point that he wasn't what he appeared to be. Raiden being a 'whiny dork' was unintended subtext based on the fact that, for the English version, they got Quinton Flynn to play him. Quinton Flynn was the voice actor for Human Torch from Fantastic Four and Axel from Kingdom Hearts and was basically known for voicing traditional pretty boy parts. As I recall the only comment Kojima made about the English voice acting was that he was very disappointed with it.

You are 'denied' the ability to play Solid Snake because Kojima wanted to develop the character of Snake from the outside, and also because Kojima wanted to sell the idea that he was an experienced vet which is harder to do when you had to teach the player all the new gameplay mechanics.

You what, mate? I've never known gaming not to be mainstream, even before PS1

To be entirely fair, weren't CDs Sony's proprietary format? As in, they would have had to pay Sony a cut of every game they manufactured
Not only that the license agreement gave Sony control over games published on CD. Basically Nintendo would have been financially screwed if they went through the deal

This reminds me of one of the most asinine parts of MGS2. You spend the first section of the game with Snake on the Tanker. Then when you switch to Raiden the game starts to throw tutorials at you. You would never have gotten there with out knowing the mechanics. So it doesn't work from a design standpoint, however if you do get there then it shows that the tutorial was never needed. Fucking crazy shit I never hear anyone bring up

If you answer the game by saying you never played MGS, it skips the tanker section.

I can't remember what the deal was, if you could select for this in the original Japanese version's options by saying 'I've played Metal Gear Solid' or if Kojima intended it one way and Konami made him do it another, but the Tanker section was originally supposed to be in the middle of the game. You'd play the game, you'd play the Plant Chapter and all the characters would talk about this mythical Tanker incident that led to the death of Solid Snake and the building of Big Shell and then, I think right around the time the President gets killed, Solid Snake would tell Raiden 'what really happened' during that Tanker incident and that's the point where you'd play the Tanker chapter

The tanker is skipped if you answer 'no' to having played MGS1 when you start the game.
So it doesn't work from a design standpoint
If you played MGS1, the tutorial is a narrative device. If you didnt, and answered the game honestly, it's both a narrative device and a functional tutorial.
Fucking crazy shit I never hear anyone bring up
That's crazy because this shit is literally brought up in almost every single MGS2 video ever published
