Is it sad to say I rather would've owned a Turbografx in the 90s than own a PS5 at its current state?
Turbographx was a neat console, the problem was it was more popular in Japan (named PC Engine over there) so you won't get the full experience unless you know moonspeak.

I remeber as a kid one of the tenants in the apartment above ours had one with Bonk. Years later as a teen when I discovered emulation, I tried the NES version of Bonk, and yea, the TG16 is the superior version. It also has the better version of Bomberman 94 (there was a watered-down genesis version with paler graphics and different music), but sadly, it's Japan only.

Not to sound salty but people would be bitching and creating all sort of KHANTENT if Nintendo did something like that. Hell, remember Splatoon 2 bitching?

I can even picture Arlo: "I am DISAPPOINTED on Nintendo's Lazyness"
Nintentards and Sony-ponies are made of the same cloth: consooming bug-men/women.

In the two first year of the PS3's life it had the first Uncharted, Folklore, Afrika, Wipeout HD, Valkyria Chronicles, Devil May Cry 4, Condemned 2, Hot Shots Golf, Eternal Sonata, Burnout Paradise, Disgaea 3, Siren, Eternal Sonata, Silent Hill Homecoming, GTA IV, Bioshock, Aquanauts Holiday, Dead Space and MGS 4.

@Marissa Moira is a pants-shitting retard.
I was with you until you listed Homecoming. You redeemed yourself with Bioshock and Dead Space. Here, have some installation music.
Would install again.

That turned out to be a bunch of nothing tweets that they wrote entire articles about. The system in the short term is expected to not be impacted, if we're talking long term by that time their new Japanese component factory should be operational.

The Japanese market pretty much has decided that Nintendo is the go-to gaming hardware for this generation and for the foreseeable future, Nintendo has a near complete domain on their home market while the Playstation 5 keeps languishing in sales in that territory. I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch surpasses the global install base of the PS4 before the end of the year. Even if the supply issue gets resolve it is not going to change the fact that the PS5 barely has any content to justify the purchase and Sony raising its price is bad PR no matter how you slice it.

The Switch is an outdated piece of tech but it has exclusives in spades and every developer under the sun is making games for it and content is king.

Steam Deck isn't providing competition to consoles, it doesn't exist in the majority of spaces that consoles are even sold in. It's not being sold at general retail which will hold it back from being widespread. Maybe valve will do that with the next one, but the only thing widespread with the Steamdeck are the places that will repair one.

On what planet are you living on that you think brick and mortar retail means anything anymore, more so for whether or not a console is competitive? We spent the last two years on a forceful isolation that accelerated the delivery of content and goods through online order and home shipping as commonplace. Valve is not going to bother selling their hardware on retail stores when they already are doing it through Steam, a platform that has 90 million monthly active users. There is no point in stocking their hardware in a brick and mortar store when anyone who plays video games already knows what Steam is and can buy it there.

The only thing that is stopping the Steam Deck from being more widespread is that Valve isn't able to produce units fast enough to keep up with the demand, a production that they have been ramping up as the demand and preorders for the Steam Deck keeps growing. They have also secured a distribution channel for Asia through Komodo to sell it in that region as that production grows.

As for that comment of yours regarding the repairability of the Deck, yes go figure, Valve's open approach is a complete 180 compared to other hardware manufacturers by making the parts and means to repair the Deck widely available to the point anyone can order parts from iFixIt and follow video tutorials to make repairs in their own home.

Spiritual successors of two IP Sony left to die are running a joint kickstarter and blew past their goal in less than 24 hours
Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts deserved better from Sony but they're too busy with remastering and remaking games to look worse than decade old versions that are available for $5
I'm glad to see all the ex Sony staff doing better away from Sony while Sony embarrass themselves every day
This feels just like all the ex-konami staff doing their own things but if you could imagine millions of retard faggot fanboys claiming metal gear survive was a great sensible business move and pachinko is actually good for them

Sweet! I played the originals back in the day, glad this is getting funded.

SJWs are never satisfied. It could be pure nigger and faggot worship but they'd still complain that the team's staff was white. Even if the team was diverse they'd blame white supremacists for not buying their garbage when it flops. Then even if it sold well they'd complain that whites are engaging in digital blackface and cultural appropriation by playing it.

Never, ever try to satisfy SJWs.

But that guy is an anti-SJW. He's literally complaining about NORSE mythology with a shape-shifting Goddess being dark-skinned.

I agree. I just don't automatically think that having a Black character in a story is forced diversity. It's with how they're written.

I think Ragnoak will sell well as it's coming off from 2018's God of War.
Of course, black characters have existed forever, gaming is no exception. Putting them in LotR or GoW though is obviously diversity pandering and muh representation though.
