Is it sad to say I rather would've owned a 3DO or Turbografx in the 90s than own a PS5 at its current state? considering the 3DO and the like flopped hard.

Dude, I like you, but damn if that isn't a ghost-pepper level hot take. Mucus illegally gives body-damaging drugs to children and tried to take the Farms, one of the only bastions of free speech left on the internet, down when we called him out on his degeneracy. Marissa, OTOH, is just a rabid fanboy/consoomer of Soyn products. And you don't need me to tell you that the latter is a lot more normal than the former.
TL;DR: Yes, Marissa is exceptional, but so are a lot of Sony-ponies. In other words, lol calm down.

I meant talking to them is the same because they
A) don't listen to what you say
B) constantly shift goal posts
C) provide information that is demonstrably false

In this sense, it is the same sort of conversation that is frustrating and never produces anything constructive.
But you're right, I'll admit that Marissa isn't evil - just a pants shitting retard.
 
Just laugh at Marissa's posts in these threads. He's a coping fanboy but he isn't an asshole and he's usually good humored about the banter. Having someone argue back is a good thing, I just wish his arguments were better

The fact he tried to make an argument justifying the PS5 price increase even though every other company is lowering costs or not changing it is extremely humourous if not sad
 
Spiritual successors of two IP Sony left to die are running a joint kickstarter and blew past their goal in less than 24 hours
Wild Arms and Shadow Hearts deserved better from Sony but they're too busy with remastering and remaking games to look worse than decade old versions that are available for $5
I'm glad to see all the ex Sony staff doing better away from Sony while Sony embarrass themselves every day
This feels just like all the ex-konami staff doing their own things but if you could imagine millions of retard faggot fanboys claiming metal gear survive was a great sensible business move and pachinko is actually good for them
