I always feel morally inclined to not give them money for some reason.
Same, and since they put most of their games on PC behind Denuvo i straight up pass on their newer games entirely.

To this day, I’m trying to figure out the odds as to how successful this TV show is going to be. I’ll be laughing to the bank if this gets Emmy nominations like it’s nothing.
I can see journos dicksucking it into oblivion and it being a moderate success with the non-gaming, binge-watching crowd, one look at the TV subreddit shows that they don't have any standards anyway. Pedro Pascal sure is a miscast and, same as the girl playing Ellie, only in it because of GoT. I'll pass on the show as i already have played through the game, which was plenty cinematic enough.

There's exceptions though. If something is too hard and you give up but still want to see what happens, or the gameplay just sucks but you're interested in the story. I've watched a few FMV games played through without commentary for both of those reasons, for example.
I've watched a few longplays* of old games I never finished. Partially because longplays of old games aren't that long and partially because the game is FUCKING BULLSHIT! Even with save states and rewinds I'm not going to touch Fortress of Fear and finish it myself.

*for those not unaware longplays are essentially 1 credit clears with no commentary.

While I'm sure they could fuck up enough to warrant hate; do they really need a retelling of Joel and Ellie's story? There's a 20 year gap between Joel's kid being murdered and him being tasked with escorting Ellie; and some part of that was him doing raider/marauder shit. There's also his brother doing firefly/terrorism shit in his own way. You could also have your own OC DONUT STEAL and fuck up on your own retardation. No need to soak yourself in gasoline for the inevitable angry mob.

What're you trying to say here, Sony?

What is that design, anyway? I can't imagine how you're supposed to use that thing with two hands, let alone if you're missing one or both or if you have motor control issues. I feel like the Xbox Adaptive Controller is a far better solution for anyone wanting to play games while disabled - yeah, getting your setup running and fine tuned will take time, but at least it's tuned to YOU and YOUR needs, not whatever this UFO-looking thing is trying to solve.

TBF, you'd have to be a complete retard to buy a dead system with no games, so it's like Sony knows their audience really well.

That looks more like it was designed to be aesthetically pleasing rather than something actually designed to help the physically retarded. The Xbox Adaptive Controller has a socket for every single button, so that you can plug in all kinds of different inputs to help all kinds of physical retards:

So if your arms are retarded, you can use pedals. If you have very little strength in your arms, you can get buttons that require minimum actuation force. Any kind of movement your retarded body still lets you do, there's an accessory to help you play. It's a genius thing.

Meanwhile...
Project Leonardo is expandable through four 3.5mm AUX ports to support a variety of external switches and third-party accessibility accessories. This enables users to integrate specialty switches, buttons or analog sticks with the Project Leonardo controller. The external accessories can be dynamically connected or disconnected, and each can be configured to act like any other button.
So, the same, but much lesser. It's one thing to mock them over this, but this is the physically retarded we're dealing with, here. Being able to hotswap accessories ISN'T A FUCKING OPTION FOR THE DISABLED, YOU MOTHERFUCKING MONGOLOIDS. they are FUCKING CRIPPLES, THEY CANNOT GET UP AND SWAP SHIT OUT ON THEIR OWN, YOU ARROGANT FUCKING ABSOLUTE PIECES OF SHIT

For all this accessibility faggotry to cater to the .001%, why is there still never an option for custom button mapping? I just want to have the reload button on L1, God fucking damn it.

Finally, a controller for my favorite game.

Been thinking about the activision deal and think one of the true reasons Sony is against it is marketing.

Right now CoD marketing deal is very valuable, and while CoD may come to Playstation, the marketing deal and the exclusive content sure as hell won't once it runs out in 2026.

I honestly think that has Sony more worried than if CoD comes to gamepass.

What do you mean? Like, are you thinking they're worried that CoD's marketing will be like "Call of Duty 2024, NOW AVAILABLE on XBOX SERIES X|S and XBOX ONE and also ps5 'n' 4"

The Gran Turismo movie was revealed at Sony's CES booth in Las Vegas. Again, I don't know who this is suppose to appeal to, as a man making a career out of GT, is less appealing than the whole plot of Ford vs. Ferrari.

Also at CES, GT7 was revealed as a PSVR2 release title.

The collaboration EV that Sony and Honda are developing, as Sony Honda Mobility, will be branded as Afeela. Again, they talk too much about the fluff aspects about the car, instead of the actual important things, such as battery size and range. The Afeela brand name sounds bizarre and uninteresting too, it reminds me of the Korean streaming platform called Afreeca.

Pretty much, may sound crazy but with CoD was always been a huge bidding war between the two companies. Also the winner get a 1 year exclusivity on random DLC, such as zombie mode. Then you have console bundles, which I'm sure do good numbers as well.

Makes more sense then them being scared it won't be on sony consoles within the next 10 years.
