Yes. And that petty and short-sighted.
This explains why Nintendo used their own optical media for a time. They do not want a repeat of that. I cannot blame them, it definitely gives insight on how both companies operate like they had and do.

Anyway, you're just in time for a Killzone reboot directed by yours truly if you wish to share.

Yep. Nintendo aggressively tried to avoid any format Sony had anything to do with. Which meant, initially, them trying to avoid CDs and later, DVDs. Nintendo was actually hoping MS would win the format war with HD-DVD, but alas, that never came to pass.

Color me interested, old friend.

Here's the twist. She doesn't "exist," she's just propaganda. Or rather, she's an overzealous diplomatic within the events of Shadow Fall. The ongoing war has aged her, but she hasn't lost her touch. She's just unfit to be in command or "fight" in a militaristic sense. But, she gives some sort of "hope."

this is a retarded take
No it isn't. You're confusing challenging the audience with demanding their compliance.
audiences absolutely know what they want,
Audiences want the same thing they've seen a million times. It's not the job of a good creator to give the audience what they want but rather what they need, to challenge them.

The problem, is that a lot of these lesser creators have nothing but contempt for the audience, view their political viewpoints as some objective truth and confuse 'giving them what they need' with 'giving them what I want'. They then use 'It's not our job to give the people what they want' as shield against criticism of shitty writing and hamfisted political takes

Holy shit, that's such a cool idea.

We may have shoot each other hundreds of times then, my friend, because that game almost fried inside my PS3. The first Black Ops is a fucking masterpiece.
My favorite in the series as well. Vietnam missions, Kennedy, CIA blacksites, a genuinely interesting plot and the best zombies the series ever had. I have no idea why they stopped putting actual historical figures in Call of duty games. Now the series just seems like a toy for kids

Sony pushed the biggest westaboo into the arms of the only western console developer? Sounds like a great bit of planning.

If Microsoft can stop letting 343 shit all over Halo and can get Tod Howard to release ES VI without it being shit like fallout 4 and starfield they might actually have a shot of rolling Sony next gen. No point trying to compete with the bing bing wahoo slop machine, I'm sure THIS rerererelease of ocarina of time will be totally new and refreshing.

Was that intentional from Guerillia Games? Now, with that, could my pitch itself work for Killzone? As a product, within its own lore, as marketing? I think yes on surface level. Even from somebody who hasn't played the series, I think I have a better approach.
GG is a European developer, so yes. The WWII allusions beat you over the head, and the backstory (which was on the website) made it even more obvious. In the aftermath of the First Extrasolar War, the Vektans imposed harsh sanctions on the Helghans, consigning them to poverty. An economic depression followed, which Visari, aka Space Hitler, exploited to consolidate the planet under his iron-fisted rule, then launched the Second Extrasolar War to deal with the Vektans once and for all.

Vekta = Space France
Helghan = Space Germany
Visari = Space Hitler

The story beats draw mainly from the economic and military history that led to WWII, it's not Jew-centric at all

That sounds fun as hell.

the PS3 was hard to develop, but they had a strong exclusive lineup compared to MS (Gears, Forza, Halo, random Rare game) that would give an incentive to own a PS3.
Early XBLA had Marble Blast Ultra, the original Pac-Man Championship Edition, and UUUUUUNOOOOOOOOO. I think I’ve made my point :).

Also, I really miss compilation discs like this. Indies still do them sometimes but it’s not the same.

I cannot believe that PSN did not have UNO for the longest time.
Xbox 360 UNO was made by Carbonated Games, which was itself created by Microsoft out of their old MSN web games team, so it was never going to leave Xbox. PlayStation (and Nintendo) did eventually get Gameloft’s UNO, but it was very “we have UNO at home”. An appealing UI and great music can go a long way for card games.

Really? After MGS4 and Peace Walker, where his voice sounded like something died in his voice box, you're really going to argue that decision was retarded?
old snake and peace walker bibo was intentional he can rough up the voices when he wants old snake sounds like that cuz he's really fucking old and boss is dejected after his military mom died

Thanks for reminding me. UNO was fun on XBLA back then. Catchy music, cheap to buy, simple online connectivity.

Oh, and that complication disc was where UNO came with Xbox 360 Arcade models in 2007-2008. Or the guy shouting had a demo of it built in.
