So Matt McMuscles made a new "What Happened?" episode about Sonic X-Treme.

He did abit of a cock tease at the end about the fact of the Sonic X-Treme movie but you can just watch PatMac's old video about the Sonic cancelled movies if you want more context.
Anyways once again it was story I already know abit about but he went full in-depth with it and god damn why does Sega always have to fuck up good things?
It's kinda depressing how Sega fucks with it's developers to the point of making a good game/concept into absolute shit then when it fucks them over because of it they going to a completely different direction like how they did with 06 and the boost gameplay despite the fact that it wasn't the game, it was them fucking with it.
The only reason why Sonic is still a thing is because of the support from the fans, Sega knows this to the point of getting fans to make a game for them but at the sametime do nothing that fans would really want and just give them shitty nostalgic fanservice and short mediocre games.
It's the same story repeated ad nauseam. It's also funny how the game made by the fans also had to have the classic nostalgic shit forcefully injected into it, Mania that would have been way better if the fanservice shit like Green hill zone wasn't put into it in the first place.
The company is a fucking mess and I have no idea how long they'll be able to still stand.
