There's obscure Sonic lolcows that are worth looking at. There's that woman who used to be prevalent on the internet, her claim to fame being that she was Sonic's girlfried; now she's a plastic surgery junkie.
Wait...OK, so, when I was younger, I was apart of the 4Kids TV forums. Despite being a heavily censored forum literally for kids, there was this one girl that would constantly post threads on the Sonic X board talking about how she was Sonic's girlfriend. She eventually got banned for claiming to be pregnant with Sonic's child.

I wonder if this is the same woman, or if it's just yet another Sonic autist...

At least Nintendo actually makes new Mario games that are fun and usually try different things. Sega makes you buy the same great old games and an increasing number of bad new games again and again.

In addition to my shitposting, what was the final verdict on Mania? I saw it in a couple of these lists. When I played Sonic Mania I was very underwhelmed. It was fine. But... eh. Also I have a whole folder of these GottaGoFast gifs. I spared your sanity with seven.
are there any games that allow you to play as them?
 
I originally thought that was some type of plant enemy that I just never came across in the game.
Considering the original instruction manual for 3 had some enemies that only appeared in the Sonic & Knuckles levels, you had just cause to think that.
 
So in some news, a person whos working on Colors Ultimate uploaded a video showcasing a new coin collectible (which is probably used to buy cosmetics) and Tails heads.

(Also the huge ass new weird rings/satellites that are presumably going to be used for the Laser Wisp)

Now this all but confirms that they're probably going to go baby mode with the remake and there won't be a playable Tails, I don't know why everyone even got their hopes up lol.

But it does make me wonder if they are going to get rid of lives then what is the point of these collectibles, are they extra continues in the level like if you fall then you'll get picked up by Tails? If that's the case then why would you even do that cuz that would just make the game even shorter.

Note: I checked the level map in the end and it's the same as it was in Colors so we won't be getting the DS style of levels like how alot of people wanted but again you have to keep your expectations low when it comes to Sonic and Sega.

Also the fall warning in the Aquarium park stage is new and also seems pretty baby modeish, like I know platforming in the game is dogshit but you don't have to warn us every single time we even get close to falling.

Btw as a last note and alot of you must have already noticed this but I still feel like I should bring it up.

The Tails icon appears to look like the style that Sonic Lost World's life icons were in.

(It's also kind of interesting how Tails' icon is facing the opposite side)

Now this is only interesting because this could be hinting at them changing the designs of the Moto bugs (and maybe other Badniks) in the game to resemble how they were (or would look) in Lost World.

Now this wouldn't be a unexpected thing for Sega to do because they already did something like this with Sonic Dash in the past.

I feel like that Sonic warning sign is old, but the arrows are new. It probably is a QOL thing that you can (hopefully) turn off. Colours had a guide mode to begin with anyway.

So I should just plug in my Wii U and play the old Wii version then? Or was the DS version better?

The DS version is the superior version, it doesn't have as many wisps but it has special stages, a true final boss with Super Sonic, it's levels make sense and are way more fun and it's by the same people who made the Sonic Rush games.

Note: also it has Sonic's other friends in it with some cute little interactions, you see them inside the extra stages and at the end of the game. It's just a nice little bonus thing.

It's only other real downside compared to the Wii version other then the Wisps is that you can't turn Super Sonic in normal levels but again there's a cool Super Sonic boss battle so it balances out.

Btw the special stages are in the style of the Sonic 2 ones which has been done to death but still they are pretty functional when I played they weren't so difficult to the point of rage quitting on them.
Burst is just fine, it's abit janky but it does it's job pretty decently.
Void is really fun to the point that I would say that it's better then Frenzy but it also runs out as fast so yeah.

It has been 11 years to be fair lol. Ah well. Let's all listen to the amazing special stage music for the DS version and feel nostalgic

I like how the walkway clips through the space tram in the first video. That's the quality I have come to expect from Sonic.
