everyone. i'm gonna talk about this game since it became free to download on steam.

this is Sonic the Hedgehog 2. released for the sega genesis on November of 1992. It's THE BEST selling game for the Sega Genesis, and considered THE BEST sonic game of all time by the community.

it introduced ALOT of important things to the series.

It introduced Miles 'Tails' Prower. a two tailed fox who is Sonic's sidekick and best friend. and is also a genius mechanic and inventor, who built his trademark plane, the Tornado.

the amount of chao emeralds was increased to 7. in sonic 1 there were only 6.

It introduced Sonic's Spin Dash ability. which can make sonic charge a dashing move.

it introduced Sonic's super form, Super Sonic. which makes him invincible and move faster and jump higher until he runs out of rings.

it introduced the Death Egg. which is Dr. Robotnik's flying fortress. and also introduced silver sonic. which is an early robot version of sonic before metal sonic came along in sonic cd, which was released a year after sonic 2. and also introduced the death egg robot, which is one of the most iconic bosses in the series.

the game also had fun multiplayer and fun special stages.

the game had memorable stages like emerald hill and oil ocean. but the most memorable ones of all were chemical plant and casino night. which would return as stages in sonic generations. and chemical plant and oil ocean returning in sonic mania.



the game had a game gear version. which is basically tails was kidnapped by robotnik and sonic goes to rescue him. it was also met with positive acclaim by critics and was one of the best selling games for the game gear.

interesting thing about sonic 2 was the green hills zone. which has music that would later be remixed to become You Can Do Anything, the song for sonic CD's PAL version.

the reason i'm writing this is because. this game is free to download right now on steam. you guys have until october 19th to download it.

The Sonic the Hedgehog community is highly autistic and is not to be trusted under any circumstance.

The best Sonic the Hedgehog game is Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles.
 
Sonic 2's great so long as you don't go after the Chaos Emeralds. Not only are the special stages impossible starting at emerald 5, but collecting the rings necessary to enter them effectively prevents you from getting extra continues. Not to mention the final boss of the game is complete bullshit, which is why I'd much rather stock up on continues than bother with the Chaos Emeralds.

Try facing the final boss with Knuckles, it's even more bullshit because he can't jump as high.

The original Tornado (red-and-white) is Sonic's plane. He just lets Tails use it. Tails built the Tornado 2. This one:

In sa1 the only gameplay stles im not fond of are tails (though thats mainly because 95% of his campaign is basically just sonics story)Amy (though Im more mixed on it) and Big's (No explanation required). I used to hate the treasure hunting sages in SA2 but once I familiarized myself with the levels I dont dislike them as much (though Security Hall and Rogue's space stage can fuck right off)
Also either 2020 or 2021 are the most likely tme for sa3 to be announced (which I suspect will happen) if it doesnt happen by the endo of next year its never gonna happen

The Sonic Fandom is equal parts one of the most impressive and most horrifying in existence. The best example of this bizzare synthesis is Tails Gets Trolled: a comic that somehow manages to be both an absolute autism but also one of the greatest comics ever made.
 
Hey Guys. this is a topic about the chao garden stuff for sonic adventure dx and sonic adventure 2 battle.

did you guys know that there were rare chao that looked like tails, knuckles, and amy?

they can't be obtained through normal means in the adventure games, they were only obtainable from promotional discs for the nintendo gamecube.


this is the only legit method to obtain the knuckles and amy chao. the tails chao can be obtained another way though.

its from phantasy star online. like the sonic adventure games, phantasy star online was also ported to the gamecube. you had to complete a certain quest to unlock a demo of the tiny chao garden in the game. once you have that demo going in your GBA, you can turn on either of the sonic adventure games to transfer that chao to that game.



these are pretty much the only ways of getting them. or you can use action replay to get them
