I just hope whatever they do with Crazy Taxi doesn't suck. I have a lot of fond memories of that game.

Going off-topic seeing as how this sorta has to do with Crazy Taxi, but I'm still saddened that the bands used in the original soundtrack are nothing but lefty fags. I mean yes, Bad Religion I knew they've been leftist shit for eons so that's not even news, but I've found out a couple years ago that Offspring became automatically woke. :sigh:

Other than that, I've also had fond memories playing it on the Dreamcast, Xbox, PC and arcade. I also hope that the new Crazy Taxi doesn't suck.

there's a general SEGA thread if you guys wanna sperg about other SEGA franchises besides Sonic:

Speaking of the blue autism magnet.....
As a part of SEGA's "new era" initiative, a new, "traditional" 3D Sonic game will release next holiday.

I'm hearing that this game is being billed as a follow-up of sorts to Sonic Colors, Generations, Lost World and Forces, rather than 2022's Sonic Frontiers, which is a completely new branch for the series as a whole, and will sprout it's own follow-up in due time.

It's going to be on a much smaller scale, though.

This is going to be a more simple "run and jump" 3D Sonic game developed for next gen consoles only. No open zone this time. It's also going to be the first Sonic title to release on Nintendo's new system.

Now, I have no idea as of now if this an Adventure styled game, or a boost styled game.

The PDF got deleted soon after he posted it, so it's safe to assume it's legit. Interestingly, this lines up with a previous rumor concerning SEGA as a whole:

They've repeatedly said the open zone shit is the new standard, though? Frontiers was the most successful 3D title since SA2, why would suddenly pivot from that.

It's the Sonic franchise dude. I'd legit be more surprised if they actually DID stick to the open-zone formula.
Sonic game does really well sales wise and is praised overall
Sonic Team: "FUCK, back to the drawing board."

it's on catbox's litterbox service, which is a TEMPORARY filehost. Upon upload the user chooses an expiration date of either 1 hour, 12 hours, 1 day, or 3 days. See for yourself https://litterbox.catbox.moe/

Absolute nothingburger.

Not great. "Sanic is keeping us afloat, so let's make mobile exclusives and small-scale projects!" Classic Sega moment.

SEGAs retardation always keeps going up when it comes to anything that inst Yakuza, and even then they had the retarded idea to add an english dub with fucking Yong Yea

There may be new sonic lolcows that we're overlooking because of how oversaturated Sonic content on youtube is. Listened to one of that Deadwingdork guy's livestreams earlier today, he was covering some strange circle of Sonic fans on youtube, who persistently get into slapfights with each other and with randoms in the sonic fanbase. They're active youtube channels, I'll have a look through to see if there's anything noteworthy about them.

I spent a couple hours getting to Hidden Palace in Sonic 3 AIR last night. Apparently I suck at this game.
It takes time and patience. Have you tried watch playthroughs or other tutorials on how to get pass the level?

Felt like playing Sonic 3 recently, was it ever upscaled like the first two? I wouldve bought that recent Classic collection but removing the original OST is a major deal breaker for me

From what I've heard the best way to play Sonic 3 is to use the original Steam version and the Angel Island Revisited remaster. https://sonic3air.org/ The old Steam version is essentially the original Genesis version and A.I.R. adds some quality of life updates, such as widescreen support, improved special stages, a customizable soundtrack, and some unlockable moves like the Drop Dash. This video shows everything Sonic 3 AIR adds to the original game:

>G.U.N.
>"cops"

Did this retard even play the games at all? They're meant to be like NATO/UN. They're an international military organization, not the fucking local police department.
It's not even some obscure lore thing, it's literally in the name: "Guardian Units of Nations"
