They came out with a figure of fucking Mephiles from sonic 06 some time ago (as well as other better game characters) and I never found out till now because despite vidya merch being plentiful technically these days it's never fucking stocked anywhere save for ebay scalpers reselling it half the time (alongside the actual games themselves thanks to other reasons with"percieved value" shit). If I ever see that thing or the infinite one in a store I might buy them for shitpost factor alone like I did the black crippled santa plushie Target put out.

A friend talked me into giving Frontiers a shot, and so far it ain't bad. Granted I'm a total outsider to this series so my views are going to be askew compared to a fan's, but I think a 3D Sonic would work better with as wide open areas as possible and I say that because the game is at it's worst when it yanks the controls out of my hands to do the 2D sections just because I stepped on the wrong spring or boost pad.
Sage's big fat pouty lips walk a delicate balance between being cute and being as distracting as Mr. Popo's

There's a couple of iffy parts in there even with all the DLC updates. Notably the pinball section at the end of the third island but otherwise it's a fairly easygoing 3D Sonic game.

I love how the Mario Movie and Sonic Prime are the polar opposites of each other, while the former rushes most of its scenes and story segments to plaster the screen with memberberries, references and hype moments, the latter makes most of its scenes drag on so hard to the point of making DBZ fights tolerable. The ending was so sudden, inconclusive and deflating to the point of making its 23 episodes run full of plot contrivances a complete waste of time.
After 6 episodes of Sonic and his multiverse friends fighting against cyberpunk Tails on his crystal palace by teaming up with the Eggmans, cyberpunk Tails just decided to come to his senses on the final episode when all is lost and the Eggmans get ejected to outer space after they start arguing with each other. After almost dying restoring the energy to crystal, Sonic is brought back to his universe with help of Shadow and the multiverse Amys on a dramatic moment that the audience know that has zero stakes and everything is back to normal, the end.
I like how they brought back the quirky Metal Sonic that appeared on a single episode of Season 2 with versions of Knuckles, Amy, Rogue, jungle Amy's bird and multiple clones of themselves but completely devoid of personality as the main villains, making the entire Season 3 an overstretched stage of a Musou game.

I know it's been a month since this video was released but a lot of prerelease information of Sonic 2 was found, including the layout and sprite work for what would have been Cyber/Genocide City as well as what the lost winter zone would have looked like (it would have been a palette swap of Sand Shower Zone, the unused desert level).

In addition, someone is working on a ray-tracing mod for Sonic Generations and so far it looks pretty good:

Don't forget the godawful pixel art scenes. They grabbed sprites from the classic and advance games, tweaked them slightly and made something absolutely horrendous.
I mean look at this:

I've seen Dorkly parody animations from 2012 with better quality put into them. This looks like one of those old "sonic scene creator" games.

I'm pretty sure genocide city has been known about for years considering the commonly known trivia it's graphics were reused in spinball as a stage tileset.

Jesus fucking christ they're blatantly using sprites ripped by gamers 2 decades ago and uploaded to spriters resource lmao. I wouldn't be surprised if that crude green eyed classic sonic was like some kid's edit from the 2000s added to the custom sprite section. Never watched the show but do they actually acknowledge the blatant fact Gemerl is plugged into the mech?

So, guys. I did an bit of an deep dive after seeing some of the usual bullshit on Wikia. The short version is the shipping community is as retarded as it's always been; but someone is actually gathering evidence of Sega employees pushing the Sonic/Amy ship and claiming that this is an moral failing of epic proportions or something.
Will the anti-Flynn crowd throw their lot in with this, I wonder.

I'm scrolling through it. Currently on the Sega Hardlight bit and it's the third or fourth time that they're blaming Ian Flynn for being related to anything with the Sonic/Amy ship. But it's mostly just them seething that Amy is getting more outfits than Shadow in those mobile games

It's fucking hilarious, so far. There's also an autistic emphasis on promoting an ship counts as "insider trading"

Edit: I'm done reading. Spergs are angry because the various divisions of Sega are pushing for Sonic/Amy, there's some Discord drama regarding the leaks, someone is assmad at Frontiers for doing the bait & switch with their advertising. And most of their "evidence" regarding Sonic & Shadow being an thing comes from Prime, of all things.

What, are they mad they're not making him gay instead? Or typical feminist shits crying about how Amy shouldn't be a love interest? I'm 90% sure it's one of those two or something adjacent.

It's an little bit about this. But it's mostly an case of weapons-grade autism being unleashed because the people who help run Sega are subverting the fate of the one true pairing

There are few things in life I will never be able to understand and shipping is one of them, especially to this degree

I finished watching boom a few days ago and found it to be a fun and charming cartoon
was considering prime sorta but also not really since i don't care for multiverse related shit but I guess that seals the deal
