Mania will always be the true Sonic 4 (or at least the closest we'll get to an actual Genesis/32x/Saturn Sonic game outside of 3D Blast). Shit like Superstars and the shitty 2010-12 4: Episodes I and II are not true Sonic 4.

I haven't kept up with the series since I was a kid aside from a couple of Bay films, but apparently they fagged up the new Transformers show too, so I guess it spread from the comic in that case. That's not a good sign.

Yeah, it's been like this at least since they rebooted the Archie comic. He seems to like to destroy any interesting character potential in favor of making every female character a crying lesbian for some reason, namely Sally, Nicole, Tangle, and Whisper. There's probably more examples you can throw in there, but they might be Evan Stanley's fault.

I get so unreasonably angry whenever I see 30 versions of the same character all running around together because multiverse shit is one of the worst media trends that every brand has seemed to just all adopt at the same time.
I know that's probably not what's going on in this trailer but I wouldn't have been surprised if that was the case.
