oh no... this spells disaster.
Just use the S&K PC Collection music. It's literally the same music as the Sonic 3 Beta and was made by the same person/people and will please the sonic fans immensely. WTF is this "made from scratch" nonsense?

The music situation for Sonic 3 & Knuckles is unfortunate, but I’d argue that having Jun Senoue shows that they at least want to let fans know they’re putting some effort into it. How many stages would be impacted, out of curiosity? They didn’t seem to have any problem using and remixing tracks from the levels they used in Sonic Mania. I know that Ice Cap, Launch Base, and the Sonic 3 credits were by Jackson’s team. Would Senoue just be able to do another remix of Entrance of the Gladiators for Carnival Night since that’s all the original track was anyway?

Luckily I don't have nostalgia for Sonic 3 so whatever music will be fine if it's good, but I'd prefer to have the PC/Genesis music.

I find it funny how these have inspired people to make their own Sonic Vtubers in the same style.
Anyways these are being used as a recap of Sonic lore which is legitimately helpful for even older Sonic fans at this point because of how confusing everything has become.
Something I find interesting is how you can that Ian Flynn has something to do with these not only with how they are piecing together Sonic continuity which something I actually appreciate it because SEGA stopped giving a shit about it after Unleashed and everything to be more like Mario.
But at the same time in the first episode you can see one of his ocs (Tangle the Lemur) that were made for the IDW comics make an appearance, they along with her friend or something (Whisper the wolf) also showed up in Sonic Speed battle so it's obvious that Ian wants them to be cannon.
I don't really know how to feel about this, mainly because I've heard there's fag shit going on with Ian, IDW and their writers so just look out for a more continuity heavy but also more gay Sonic era in the coming future.
Japan has been doing these since Jun 24th where the official Japanese Sonic Twitter announced it and these seem to be used interviews along with other stuff when here it just seems to be these recap videos.
There also seems to be something going on with that one dog women and her appearance on a official Japanese Sonic 30th Anniversary collab was also where the Tails model was first used.
Know if you're curious on all the current Sonic vtuber models, here are all of them as of now.

Pretty sure this was also solely made for the TailsTube series as well.
As a side note, Sonic in Japan has only ever change voice actors for ones who have passed so there isn't any gay voice debates which is pretty nice, sucks that Sonic has always been more of a western thing down to his personality and doesn't do as well in Japan.
That's most likely the reason why the Sonic Movie 2 Japanese release date is August 19, 2022 because there isn't as much of a market there for the Blue Blur as there is here.
And Vtubers are just huge in Japan so it makes scene why these are a thing and also why they are doing with them then we are that of which are just now really being a thing with these Tails videos.

I'll never forgive that chink bastard for killing Geist Force. Also the reason why the voices changed as much as they did, especially Tails, who just had to be voiced by an actual child for some reason.
He has, which makes it especially weird they seem to be real pumped for Frontiers. The japanese version of the IGN videos have the comment section expressing optimism and interest, even from non-fans.
It's weird as hell.

Is SEGA actively encouraging this? Atlustube (The official Japanese outlet for Atlus on Youtube) has similar Vtuber vids.

All I know is that they made the Vtuber models and use them every now, you can find them on the official Japanese Sonic Youtube channel live streams, although because of them not being featured in the thumbnail.
Btw there's a Japanese version of the Tailstube videos only fair they made the avatars after all, either way it's here and here for anyone of you who liked playing the SA games with the original Japanese voice track.
Now that's the main meat of the post, the rest will just be me talking about random stuff related to the channel.
Find it weird how there are English recap videos on this Japanese account when you don't see the opposite doesn't happen.
I guess this may tie into something else that (kind a) surprised me is how they still remove the English voice-over dub but don't dub over English with Japanese which really disappointed me ngl.
Still really love the Maina interview which is the reason why I choose it.
Anyways the last thing I want to bring up is this, another Tails gets Trolled reference.
This is a real video, it's nothing special but with the resurgence of the Sonic.exe stuff you would think that someone would bring up how "Super Sonic.exe in Area 51" is cannon but that doesn't seem to be really the case, if the official American Sonic account did this, it would be day one.
One last thing, this is unrelated but someone is modding the Werehog into Sonic Generations, something that was probably inspired by when the "Libsm64" framework was put into the game to make a playable Mario 64.
Hopfully the Werehog will be better to play as then Mario 64 was but even if he's not really suit to Modern Sonic's gameplay, it would be cool to see an reversed Unleashed project with the night-time stages built around the mod.

There was another Frontiers update just now on IGN, but it's not worth linking since it's just Iizuka talking about stuff we already know. The one nugget in there is the notion that he'd like to make another Adventure game sometime. Adventure influenced Frontiers a fair bit as you can probably tell.

I'll believe it when I see it. One of SEGA's policies for the IDW Comics was no relationships. So I'm expecting something very non-committal and vauge.

I bought Mania to play, figuring I'd like it since I like the old games. I didn't hate it, but I found it...kind of "meh" for lack of a better term. I found the levels too long and some off the layering confusing (where does the foreground and background begin and end).
I beginning to think the nostalgia factor is way more important than I realize when it comes to Sonic games.

I brought up the Murder of Me fan comic at some point, this person has also made a really edgy Sonic fan comic called "Ghost of the Future" where Sonic died being stuck as a pussy ghost and Shadow murdered almost the main single character.
Anyways it's also a weird furry thing with it being really bad at the start.
Now we know why she would be pushing for gay shit in Sonic the Hedgehog but I am 100% sure that she was brought onto the IDW theme in a style to how Pendleton brought on Tumblr artist like Rebecca Sugar to work on Adventure Time that Ian Flynn did the same with her.
This isn't just out of nowhere speculation, Ian used to work on a edgy fan Sonic comic set in a alternate universe called "Other M" way before he got brought onto Archie to be a writer,
He also has a weird obsession with Bean the Dynamite.
I have to disagree that weirdo furry degenerates aren't Sonic fans because these two are Sonic fans while also being degenerates, the real problem is how much they let slip into their content and now they are working on official Sonic stuff so this all is a bigger deal.
Now I know Ian really was trying to push for Sally and Nicole to be a thing near the end of Archie so I'm not even surprised that they are doing the same thing now but but this time with characters they created, so it works better.
Nonetheless SEGA hiring Sonic fans can be a curse or a blessing, in this case both are true but who knows this all will be seen once it gets into the games, Sonic has done gay pride shit before in the past and we do live in globohomo times but even still sucks to see.
