Based on his language, sounds like an anglo, maybe middle-aged. I wouldn't know if 'bugger off' has fallen out of favour in the english lexicon, but it would be likely.

There were a couple of gentlemen from the UK I used to play with over Playstation Network a few years back. One of them did use the phrase "bugger off" occasionally so I imagine that phrase hasn't buggered off of the English lexicon.

Also, requesting someone draw an inverse of that. I’m thinking Kit giving a thumbs up and saying “Always believe 4chan”

Since this guy Ian Flynn did main contributions to Frontiers story, I decided to read IDW sonic in order to get some appretiation of his writing qualities (never bothered to read those Archie reboots btw) and what to expect based on his work on this comic....
Bluntly put, IDW sonic is bland garbage and a waste of time, even when I expected lack of substance. There are some amusing moments like eggman's "Attaboy" towards Metal for punching Sonic in the face, but those are overshadowed by characters's stupidity and prevalent inane dialogue that just tick me off, the unbalanced characterizations of the OCs compared to the game's characters, the whole "But SAniC wHy Do YoU SpArE Evil GuYs" when they don't do shit about it and allow Sonic to always make the call, writing staff oushing reset button after every arc finishes etc.
"Tails Gets Trolled", being all chaotic and tangencially related to Sonic, is more engaging than this corporate product made to sell merchandise.

I swear I’m about to get into Sonic fan fiction. It’s the closest I’ll ever get to the insanity that was Archie, especially with how boring Sonic is now

I'd partially blame that on SEGA's mandates stripping the comics of any particularly interesting storylines.

I could also say that there are only 50 issues so far. Things could get more interesting as they go on.

Ian Flynn also wrote for the later entries in the Archie Sonic comics, so you could also gauge his abilites from there as well.

“Only” 50 issues? Archie did way more in 50 than IDW. They built up to an epic grand finale and had a decent amount of lore to build off of. IDW has what, a handful of OCs to play with and only two of whom I give a shit about?
It’s not you I’m mad at, it’s Sega for not letting Sonic be great.

Some of the new villains he added in that were cool and i wish they'd get introduced in IDW, but he also tried to shoehorn in gay romance. Maybe it is better that he isn't allowed to do as he pleases.

I can't blame SEGA for being done with the retards Archie hired. If you were getting lawsuits because Penders and the other designers thought the characters they ripped off from you was their original IP you'd try to stop that shit from happening again too. Also it's been speculated that Ian Flynn pulled that out of his ass so people don't question his SonAmy pairing. Even if it isn't BS though, that's honestly kind of a good thing, since IDW is a very woke as fuck publisher who does nothing but publish Nostalgia bait like GI Joe, Transformers, MLP, etc, but is failing because they feel the need to add trannies and woke propaganda into everything.

Yeah, I want the opportunity for chaos and insanity that Archie had, but maybe not so much to risk Penders 2.0, and I don’t want to risk gay ship shit that I know some of the current writers would and are trying to pull. It’s a tough middle ground to find.

Sonic's fanwork and sperging may have irregular quality, but those always have the grace of being unadulterated creative outputs.

Something that seems off with the IDW tone, is that Sonic has a nonchalant or pretty stoic attitude towards a tragedy (It reminds me of Adventure's Sonic), whilst the OCs and some game characters like Amy react accordingly with either mild sadness,shock or even bawling just a Whisper did after of losing her lesbian ship to the metal virus (And they display this in a pretty visceral way covering almost an entire page). Isn't like Sonic should cry like a bitch, but quite act like a NPC that wasn't scripted to react towards it.
Also, censoring the context of the intent of killing someone with the word "destroy". Is this dissonance caused by the mandates?.

The SEGA mandate stuff is here say but if anything that mandate was almost certainly because they are dealing with Sonic fans, but to be fair Sonic has always been inconsistent with how they handle dark themes so it's hard to tell the line.

Wouldn't be surprised if some of the mandates are made up bullshit that some dude said like how they said to the Sonic Boom Rise of Lyric team that only Tails and Eggman can be mechanics because that's something from the Sonic Bible.

Yeah I would read Archie if you want a more accurate representation of Ian's work. That's not to say he's perfect (and he drops references way too much for my liking) but you will notice a difference between his script and Pontac and Graff's work almost right away when Frontiers drops.
