Not really. IT's more like that demands a lot of work that for whatever reason the IDW comics are not doing. If you care about Tailstube, humies are in the continents while the Mobians are all in the islands. In fact, is there a map of the world in IDW world? Or a central government or anything besides random villages?

It's perfectly understandable: They don't want a repeat of hobo former king Sonic or the slap. I don't get what's the point of dudes not wearing pants ever, though.

It's a fresh start and they are designed to be safe, so of course the rules will be more relaxed. There won't be stuff like a war between furries and humans starting because a furry broke the neck of a random kid as it happened in Archie. Hell, I bet the reason they took this long to show Amy is because of Rule 34.

Because there's not much for Eggman to do. He can't kill anyone for good, there's no central government that he can bully, no secondary places he can raze to the ground, not even a world map I bet...

Agreed, but it's a low bar, and it won't happen ever again. See Sonic Prime, that's the kind of writing we'll get from now on. Instead, in IDW we have schizo writing such as Starline nerding about references to Adventures of Sonic that no-one except the oldest fans will get, and in the same issue have a casual mention of child abuse due to Star mistreating the bootleg duo by by killing and reanimating them repeatedly for funsies.

I really tried my hardest to give the IDW comic a chance but I couldn’t keep giving a shit when it just devolved into focusing on all of the lesbian fanfic characters. Like I just want cool adventures with Sonic and his crew not these fucking OCs. Last time I tried to read it they were in a story arc where it was just the girls on a roadtrip so I just didn’t even bother.
 
About a year ago or so ago i bought a dozen or so(second hand because the IDW shop is shit and afaik you can't just buy a subscription) of these comics and eh. They were ok. If i were a kid who somehow had access to a comic book shop i'd probably enjoy them, they don't have the sheer retardation of the Archie comics, but i don't think it'd be an experience that'd stick with me. About the only one of the new characters i like is Sniper Wolf, and that's more down to the idea of there being a sniper wolf than anything. The sheep, aside from knowing that it exists, is just there, and i really don't like Hands the Lemur. I kinda wish Green Sonic and sidekick Twink Tails was handled differently, like Dr. Ducknik just got two randoms who hated sonic, gave them powers, and told them to kick his ass rather than the traumatic bullshit. Oh, i forgot the puppet and female charmy too, they exist i guess.

Come to think of it, what's it with all the new characters being female? The only ones that aren't are villains, or very feminine.

I honeslty don't see the problem, it's just as dumb and silly as the rest of Sonic media. yeah the shipping is annoying, but we've all seen way, way worse in media meant for kids(as if a lot of kids even read this branch of Sonic media) this is tepid at best, maybe annoying at worst?
 
At this point any of the Tumblr fanartists-turned-pros who work on the comic not openly being a degenerate would be surprising.

Looks pretty Legit I'd say anyways. Though, this seems to be beta build so the game is probably still months off. I'm sure we will se a new trailer for it at the state of play tomorrow.

Not the level I would've chosen for a racing game though. Night Palace, Levitated Ruin, or Evil Foundry seem more apt fits that'd be interesting, hopefully they're in the game.

I found out that EmuEmi was shagging Ryan Drummond back in 2018 or 2019 from a clique of Sonic roleplayers with loose lips and ties to the parties involved.

There's a different unrelated Sonic roleplayer, ManicMakes, who is either monitoring mentions of himself or has someone else doing so for him on KF. People didn't take too kindly to the revelations he was creeping on a child, or was into pairing up Sonic with Manic in a rather explicit fashion. He'd set up several sockpuppet accounts on discord, twitter, and other sites to try defending himself or to mess with them.
