I don't know about the other two but the newest car forum mods (for some reason there are now two?) are fucking insufferable. One is a 50 year old australian lib with a serious anger management problem and the other is typical modern SA pozzed tranny defending faggot. Skip it.

Oh make no mistake, 4chan was a honeypot. It's not like moot made the board and then said, "Ok guys you can just post CP here now!" It's that the "anonymity" of 4chan and its lack of moderation on the surface made dumb people think they could post there and not get caught. On SA, the admins (claim) to ban posters for doing this, on 4chan you don't have an account so banning specific users isn't possible but reporting the IP addresses of people who posted illegal shit to the feds is possible, and they did that under moot. You were more likely to catch heat posting shit on 4chan than pretty much anywhere else on the internet during that time period. Most forum mods anywhere think they're gods and will just delete anything like that, ban (maybe) and dust off their hands calling it done, and likely nothing will ever come of it. If you did it on 4chan your information went straight to the alphabets.

Decades ago on another large, text-based forum with a userbase mostly consisting of teens, I remember the mods there getting hostile when suggested that posts claiming suicidal ideation should have their local emergency departments notified instead of just deleting the posts and whining that the kids just wanted attention and it wasn't the mod's problem and why should they care if some kid kills themselves it's their parents' fault etc etc, this shit goes on in every large forum. Of course pedo thirsting posts were allowed and this was before embedded images became a thing on every site, but links to such may or may not have gotten deleted and if it did get deleted the mods just probably saved it for themselves and definitely did not report shit. My younger self and other teen posters absolutely called in welfare checks for anyone we could get enough info on to do so with varying degrees of success, and the mods' hostility and outright refusal to give a single fuck about another human being still sticks with me. They had much more info and tools to get users help and all it takes is a fucking phone call to say you tried. Absolutely deplorable.
 
I had a dream last night that I got permabanned from SA again for ban evasion and then called the mod a fag on Discord and he unbanned me and apologized
