The thing about the "chud" insult is that it is, by itself, harmless and implies nothing about the people hurling it. Goons used to call everybody they didn't like a fag; they can't do that anymore but "chud" is considered acceptable so they'll yell "chud" all day long. On its own, it's just the childish insult du jour.

What does put a wrinkle in things is that it doesn't stop there. Calling someone a fag or a poopiehead doesn't mean that you think that person is attracted to other men or that he has feces on his head, nor does it mean that you think that person should be thrown off the top of the Burj Khalifa. Calling someone a CHUD also does not mean that you think he is a human-resembling monstrosity that dwells underground and sustains itself via cannibalism. It's just a word.

What does become bothersome is context -- specifically, the context in which goons constantly call massive swaths of the population CHUDs. If I ran around the Kiwi Farms calling everybody autistic, that would be childish. If I also posted massive screeds about stopping autism via eugenics and birth control and infanticide via drowning upon the first sign of eye contact avoidance, and then I built and painted a wooden puzzle piece monument and erected it on a neighbor's lawn and set it ablaze because I spied their 6-year-old playing Sonic the Hedgehog, and then I bragged about planning to shoot up my local special school, this might suggest some kind of pathology needing to be addressed.

Similarly, if goons were just yelling "CHUD" at each other all day long, that would be no cause for concern. However, they do not stop there. The same people talking about CHUDS also talk about:

  • Abusing their inherited wealth to buy houses mortgaged by impoverished Trump-voting families and initiate foreclosure proceedings
  • Forcibly rounding up white rural-dwelling populations, seizing all their property, and putting them on trains leading directly into city slums from which they cannot escape
  • Making pipe bombs for use in destroying dairy farms and the livelihoods and/or lives of dairy farmers
  • Extremely graphic descriptions of indiscriminate violence and torture of Trump voters

Those being only a few examples. Some people yell "fag" or "autist" to be crass and offensive, Pewdiepie yelled "nigger" to be crass and offensive, goons yell "CHUD" because they want to harm people they consider to be CHUDs.

Especially considering how hard Josh advocates for eugenics and how he defended hotwheels when he was "cancelled" due to his support to eugenics

Honestly I don't care if you're right wing or left wing, an oversocialised urbanite consoomer or a redneck that keeps to himself, if you take the word "chud" offensive under any context, if you think being called a chud is something to be mad at the internet about, you're a fucking moron, period. I haven't seen anyone mad about being called a chud. Everyone I've seen react to it has thought it was a pisspoor insult that fails at its one job - making the recipient feel insulted.

But that doesn't mean people haven't noticed, like that SA poster noticed, that chud is another in a line of insults that is being used to dehumanise large numbers of people. Like alt-right, Gamergater, Nazi, incel, TERF and so on, a group of people who loudly and proudly trumpet their empathy and tolerance use chud to describe someone irredeemable and evil. Someone who deserves silencing, having violence committed against them, and their lives ruined.

I think of it like a pastor and his flock praying I'll go to hell. I don't care, I don't believe in hell, I don't think they have any power over me in that way. But they believe it, so while I know they're ineffective, I also know just how badly they think I should suffer because they're doing it.

C.H.U.D. is a cheesy B movie. The ironic thing about woketards adopting it as an insult is it's sometimes seen as having a subtext about the monsters in the film representing marginalized populations, so basically the people using it as an insult are racist as fuck, yo!

I'm going to be charitable and assume you're not trollposting despite your use of the term "redditfarms." I have not seen the posts you are referring to and I do not know enough about Josh or Hotwheels or other such internet community managers to say whether they actually believe in eugenics or whether they're just trying to be offensive.

You do bring up a good point about "chud." I do not find it offensive and I do not think anyone does, which makes its extensive use on SA all the more telling. When someone yells "fuck niggers" I can charitably assume that they're just trying to be funny, because being deliberately offensive can be funny. I cannot make the same assumption about goons going into gruesome detail about all the different ways they want to personally kill CHUDs, especially because I've noticed that the goons posting in that manner are making no attempt whatsoever to be funny or edgy about it. On a forum where the users have a long and very well documented history of spending their lives in a homicidal (and in the instance of climate goons, genocidal) rage, it becomes ominous.

To repeat myself, I don't think it's offensive, for the same reason that I don't think someone binging WWII propaganda movies for a week and then starting to stockpile weapons while posting obsessively about wanting to kill krauts is offensive. I'm not offended; I'm just worried that they're going to fucking kill someone.
 
So now there's ads for Bread & Roses on the forums, which apparently costs $10 to join. I find it funny that someone else has essentially ported over all the stupid SA drama threads with whatever avatars/gangtag system they used, put it on Xenforo, and are charging money for it. :story:

It's not nearly the herculean task LowT made it out to be.
 
Why would Lowtx care? So far every off site has crashed and burn unless it got a identity that was completely different then SA.

Hell the creator of B&R came crawlibg back to SA anyway.
