I find it shifts the conversations and opinions constantly to the left because you have to out-woke the previous posters. Plus there's that constant need to be edgy but all the center and right edginess is gone so it's always just leftwing lunacy all the time forever.
Really my biggest grievance is that whether you like it or not you're forced to endure endless U.S politics. It's unfathomable for goons to even think that other places have different political parties, views and ways of governing.

Being a little bit more extreme than everyone else scores you points; questioning extremism gets you banned and/or mass-ignored for “concern trolling” and “tone policing.” Yelling “bash the fash” and “splash the fash” and “guillotine the fash” in response to any white person’s tweet embed is a-ok; posting “jesus christ“ in response to any of that gets you purged for wrongthink. For how fucked up A&H is over here, imagine how worse it would be if Ashy the Angel & co. were banned and then a purity spiral commenced.

Half the reason why the United States exists at all is because Britain imposed a tax (the Stamp Act) that directly affected the newspapers, and the newspapers retaliated by telling all their readers that the tax was actually on them and was pure overseas tyranny that had to be resisted at all costs.
