CREATIVE griefing is fun. Starfleet Dental (SFD) running into the roleplayers zone with hazmat suits, disco balls, and fire extinguisher was fun as hell.
For example: Guild Wars 2 has this thing where instead of quest/collect bears assess/etc you had basically events across a single zone. At lower levels these events were one of things but as the game progress the events would get more and more complex chaining into each other (If you a group it would start a different event, fail and you would get rushed by a high level boss, etc) with the final zone being nothing but events. Like in the final zone it starts off with no NPC bases and the the players across the zone have to help out the NPCs to recapture everything, deal with counter attacks, etc. Failing a event could also spawn a different, unique event chain that you would never see if you successfully completed the starting event.
Well it turns out that one of these event chains failures produced a high level boss with extremely good loot that people would farm over and over again. Like other players would setup the event, let it fail, get the secondary event, kill the boss, and then reset the whole thing. SFD would show up, hype every one up, RP like they are saving Tyria, and make sure the event was completed while around them every single other player would be loosing their minds trying to get them to stop.

They figured out that if they self-destructed ships in an area where other people were, they would be destroyed aswell. They went on a jihad streak for a few hours.

Catgirl Bargains, which is just as gay as it sounds. (So gay that one of their donations was read during this years AGDQ). They werent really on our radar until the past few months as the full image of what Goons have been trying to do to get rid of "Evil Nazi Doxxer Taylor Swift" over the past few years has started to be piece together. It's a fairly short story so I'll break it down:

everywhere on the server because he had his Facebook linked in his Steam profile and when we flexed about it in "The Griefing Thread" Factsareuseless got REAL asspained and closed the entire thread for good and probed a few of us and also locked the Rust thread for some reason. Anyways we took a hiatus around the end of 2015 and the original leader left, so I ,with a good bit of cat wrangling experience from running an old school WoW trolling guild called COMMUNISM, took over the clan and started the actual BMW Discord, as before we'd been using some fag named Woofingtons Discord.
A few months, BMW was one of the biggest non-EVE or MMO Goon groups, easily. We had several active threads and were the main group for several different games, then when Conan came out we really blew up and were arguably one of the top 3 groups in terms of overall activity. In the run up to the election we really started to form out as a group of mostly Right Wing leaning people, or atleast people who appreciated the shitshow that was American politics and our Discord was mostly just Trump memes for a long time.
During Conan, Tempus Thales got real interested in BMW mainly because we ran the Conan Exiles thread and he was interested in porting over the server to Linux

His left hand man, FAT32 (Better known as Tussen Takk of YOSPOS fame) was also a mod on The Unofficial SA Discord and started to take notice of BMW, as did Ben and most of Serious Overchill. BMW and SRS got along for a long time, and we both coexisted on each others Discords for a year or so, until around one of the special elections in 2017 when a Bimmer was dunking on their political chat for being butthurt about something and they blanket banned all of us for some gay reason.
Fast forward to early 2018: BMW is essentially running The SA Discord, as I (as well as FAT32) had been promoted to admins of the Discord. At some point, TT got paranoid he was being used
, but not by both BMW and SRS, just BMW, because FAT32 got into his ear about MUH NAZIS. Along with this, FAT got a bunch of his SRS cronies to message TT every few weeks and cry about having a Nazi admin, also not helped that in my typical controversial fashion many of the more faggoty users of the Discord already hated me. Then in April they managed to brigade the admins on the forums hard enough to get me banned for a TWEET I made joking about how potato chips weren't allowed in the ethnostate, just Goldfish crackers. Initially TT stood up for me because the original goal of GDN was to present that old fashioned Goon environment, but he was so desperate for relevency that he cucked and sold out, banned all the Bimmers and turned his Discord into an "LGBTQ+ Safe Space". No lie, its literally on his GDN website. Needless to say, this didn't really do much in the way of hurting BMW, and in fact helped us as we used the momentum to recruit a bunch of other downtrodden and banned members and our activity once again exploded.
TTs Discord continued to die and FAT32 left when he'd done the damage he intended. Over the next year, BMW and SRS both grew and for different reasons chose to distance themselves from "Goon Culture". Early last year when Richard had his meltdown and started begging for money, TT was invited into LowTs Discord (that we had been using as a futa hentai dump) and realized that not only was BMW still around, that we were actually influencing Richard. Well TT had a little melty, kicked us all out, and got back into contact with FAT32 who concocted a plan. They realized that getting me banned from SA wasn't enough, I needed to be banned from Discord. So they threw together a plan to blame a massive doxx leak on me. FAT32 had long time been the author of a Discord bot used by several clans, including BMW for a while, called Brobot (I later got tired of how shitty it was and made my own called YinBot, because BroBot was open source once upon a time). So FAT claimed that somehow Id gotten the access key to the bot which would allow me to run a separate version and log everyone's chat. Of course he had no evidence of this other than one admin channel on TTs discord that had gotten leaked (Because he fucked up a self assignable role, full explanation here: https://wiki.wttdiscord.com/File:W_i_d_e_b_o_y_s.pdf). Obviously it failed, so in a last ditch effort, TT got a hold of my schizophrenic ex-con roommate in a pathetic attempt to doxx me. Again, a massive failure. This pretty much ended FAT32s entire internet career as well as TTs, which all came back to bit him just earlier this month with GDN getting dunked on. These groups all came up again too this month in the PPJ drama. Catgirl Bargains in particular had a big meltdown over banning my "alts" aka random people they thought were me, and maybe one person I might have framed as a joke
Long story short, these are the lengths *HUNDREDS* of human adults have gone through to try and get rid of one man and his group of friends who just wanted to play video games, and how time and time again they failed to do anything. Dunking on Troons in this thread is great, but theres an actual human element in the degradation of SA. My story isnt unique, theres countless others Ive heard of that have been treated the same way for the same reasons, I was just lucky enough to have the resources and manpower to defend myself and fight back.

The Model Rules of Professional Conduct prevent a non-lawyer from getting financially involved in an ongoing legal matter, double so if it can be construed that those donations are influencing the lawyer's behavior or ability to represent the client.

I was in Diamond Frogs in Elite Dangerous for a while around 2015-2016. It was actually a lot of fun, there was a real old-school goon fucking around feel, and they’d raid Reddit to spread propaganda. Lots of political maneuvering, it was pretty good.
