In memoriam of FYAD and celebration of page 900, I thought I'd post my FYAD flag collection. Scouring my personal backups, I ended up with a little over 800 flags and kept them around because they take up like no space and some were funny. Around 15 years later, they've turned out to be a nice little snapshot of pre-smartphone internet culture and gave you a sense of how FYAD was back in the day.

A lot of them are porn, a lot of them are gross, a lot of them are dumb, there are at least two goatses, and some even contain shit you can play in Winamp or run as an executable. Obviously, do everything at your own risk, but anything executable probably doesn't run on any modern computer without an emulator. So there are your warnings, have fun, if you find anything interesting, share it with the class. And just remember:

I tried running it in DOSBox and it just froze it for a few seconds and then closed it. OllyDbg said it wasn't a 32-bit executable and my hex editor doesn't show any plaintext. I don't know if there's actually anything there. Could be a 16-bit program, maybe

it’s amazing how easy and wildly successful it’s been to whip these morons into a witch-hunt frenzy. I keep expecting to find my SA accounts banned with every new sign in, but nope, they are still buying my earnest contributions to rooting out secret forum nazis and signs of wrong think everywhere!! I fear my reg date will become a scarlet letter. Old reg dates are just proof one once laughed at problematic jokes and photoshop Fridays.

need to start instituting 30 day probations on all pre-2012 reg date accounts so full investigations can be done on all posters who were part of the problematic wrong think era.

The troon SA nazi hunters must find anyone who has ever laughed at lady penis havers and old accounts are chock full of such people. Old accounts are akin to confederate civil war veterans- those posters posted on the wrong side of history!!

The fact that so many old goons post on KF has driven their paranoia into hyperdrive and is evidence that all reg dates before 2009 are obvious nazi loving, alt right, edge lords who kill troons via misgendering.

For the SA forums to be truly cleansed and safe for Troons obviously anyone who ever posted in FYAD needs to be permabanned yesterday and all accounts who posted during the problematic decade 2000-2010 need 30 day probations. If these posters sincerely apologize and submit for post history inspection to a local Troon stasi member their account may be redeemed, but if they don’t a permaban is necessary!!

I mean, let’s be honest, just banning posters doesn’t solve the problem, they can pay $10 to reinfect the forums. Nazis need to be permabanned with an ISP block to be sure the SA forums are cleansed of transphobia and nazis.

Not really, its fairly evident these people are monumental losers and likely a snarky comment away from killing themselves based off how quickly they jumped on the opportunity to become the bully, which is how these morons are acting in their quest for ideological purity on a comedy forum. They're absolutely pathetic.
 
This website was pretty much a part of my childhood like YTMND. Probably late on this but it's sad to see this once decent website turn into yet another clone of ResetEra. What a pity.

This counterintelligence gay op with PPJ is a nice change of pace for drama. By most online leftist's definition, he is 100% a cryptofascist, and so he's got to go. Him biting the bullet willingly after committing his heart and soul to this song and dance probably just means that he's worked out a deal with mods/admins to continue message passing, and they ignore his new account.

My favorite part of this whole drama though is thinking that KiwiFarms has a bunch of nazi FYADposters. The only FYAD posters here have like 3 posts, all butthurt about FYAD getting banned. They've completely misread the landscape.

It's probably going to sound like me sperging but here goes.

It's times like this that I miss the old Internet. Here's how I remember the Internet as I know it.

When I first discovered the Internet I was just a wee child and I played stuff like those old Flash games that Cartoon Network used to have on their own website.

Then as I got older I discovered stuff like 4chan, Newgrounds, YTMND, Something Aweful, and so on. This is where I would discover what a meme really is.

And I also remember when Youtube was brand new. I remember when people used to upload anime like Sailor Moon in parts in which I would sit there and watch after school (these were the days before anime streaming websites were a thing).

And I also remember playing those Flash games on Newgrounds where I would play those Henry Stickman games and this driving game where you have to escape this city being overrun by zombies when I came home from after school too.

But most importantly, I remember Internet culture being a lot different. People would shitpost, post porn, and say the edgiest stuff imaginable and for the most part no one was really offended. This was in my opinion the Golden Era of the Internet.

Now we have Twitter mobs that go apeshit over the dumbest things, big tech censoring stuff, and even websites like Something Aweful turning into total shit too.

This is bullshit. I want to go back to the old days on the Internet. Fuck this.
