The running theory seems to be that a large percentage of Lowtax's patreon money comes from the troon squad and that's why he's hesitant to give them the axe, though I personally don't believe it.

its not necessarily the troons themselves paypigging lowtax, but at the very least the people giving him money are highly tolerant to the troon presence on the site or else they'd probably be posting on an offsite by now in 2019. personally i see it as up in the air which way the paypigs would side, which isn't a smart risk for taxman to be taking right now. really just depends which sits higher on the stack in the goon's mind: sjw values or nostalgia for a dying internet "comedy" forum.

this makes sense. i cannot see people who get anxiety about a dead gay forum being functional enough to have money to spend on said dead gay forum. it is much more likely that the people contributing are the type who would be deathly afraid of being called a terf and keep quiet while the troonsanity keeps increasing in intensity.

Or more likely they post in a few threads where the troons and commies haven't invaded yet. They rememeber when cool and fun threads were happening all the time, and hilarious photoshops, so when they see "Oh shit, SA is dying? Shit I need to get on that" without realizing that its been several years since they've ventured into a new thread without immediately regretting it, because discourse on SA has always been shit - and its become a commie-tranny-feminazi hug & soapbox so gradually they never noticed.
 
I'm with the other posters saying I'm on team troon takeover now. They have a much more fun cast of characters and are a lot more camp. You've got Koala as the grifter with a heart of gold, CascadeBeta as the Jesus allegory, FAU as Silas from the Da Vinci code, and a whole gaggle of colourful, shrill side characters.

i would have agreed with you like a year or two ago, but really how many threads/subforums haven't been invaded by troons and commies yet at this point? there aren't enough left for that to be the case.

edit: plus a lot of goons have social media, a lot of them are on facebook+twooter. click a few goon profiles and it becomes apparent the forum has an entire underbelly of betaboy male allies which exist in the same sphere of "goon" and don't get talked about a lot on kf or sose because they don't really cause much trouble.

The betamen allies are the primary driver of the site's income since odds are, they've got a nice gig as a computer janitor for FAANG and will gladly give a tithe to the altar of white guilt. Those types mostly stick to PYF and YOSPOS because they're reddit-tier sanitized as not to offend anyone who might ever come there.
 
I don't have any personal stakes in this but I just find it hilarious seeing this guy trying so hard to please the nutjobs he allowed to infest his forums while they just swarm him like piranhas. I wonder if he's starting to have regrets.
