Can't wait for the news article about this sped blowing himself up trying to make a bomb out of duct-tape and glue.

Has there been anything but radio silence on SA about Jonathan Yaniv? I can't namesearch him too well without an account, but am wondering if any goons are rushing to his defense.
He's got his own sub-forum here. It's an amusing disaster.Who is Jonathan Yaniv?.....
Harton just got probed for a week for constantly posting shit like this:

I wonder if he'll make it through the week without killing somebody.
If he could be bullied into removing his cartridge holders from his 3DS, surely he could be bullied into not committing mass murder.I remember this Turtlicious guy. He became a laughing stock around when the Nintendo 3DS first came out for something not as concerning but equally dumb, so I've little to no reason to believe he would be a deep cover troll.
He felt that the game cases which 3DS games came in were too inconvenient, I guess, so he had a...unique idea which he was so particularly proud of that he bragged about it on the games forum, with pictures. I only ever found out about it because his avatar was edited by a mod to specifically link to that very post detailing all of this. All I can find is the aftermath of the whole mess.

This is the inside of a 3DS game case. That raised structure on the right houses the carts themselves. Using a pair of scissors, he cut out three of these holders and literally superglued them to the top plate of his 3DS. I suppose the idea was so he could "quickly" swap out one of four games which would be stuck to the back of his game console. I'm not entirely sure why, because portable games are both usually time wasters and also not something you need to swap out with some urgency.

Needless to say, he was laughed out of the thread. He did, however, try defending himself and his...I suppose you could call it an invention? Regardless, he tried to redeem himself by providing photographic proof that he removed the holders from the back of his game console. But, as I said, he superglued them on, so the plastic was scratched, chipped, and covered in dried glue. He then proceeded an attempt to placate everyone by further pushing that he's self aware enough to realize it was a bad idea, and that he corrected it. The debacle finished when he wound up buying new face plates, but he was known as "that glue guy" for few years after the fact.

I'm glad to see he's moved on from imbecilic modifications for children's toys to premeditating ecoterrorism.
He says he has a wife now but I worry that the wife is imaginary.

After the Mueller testimony this morning was disappointing, it didn't take long to see the suicide hotline. Half the megathreads drift in and out of sharing self-care tips. The frailty they train each other to adopt is always fascinating. They want to fall to pieces at every setback.
The state of the WoW Subforum is pretty direAh, that explains it.
The WoW subforum was private so even when SA wasgoodmore suited to my level of autism, I never read it and hadn't heard the moderator switched, but I think the old one did it for like seven years or something?
I wonder who the longest serving mod currently is.
Fucking battle.net. Goddamn I miss the real Blizzard... Anyone remember trying to set up a game of warcraft 2 over the internet? Battle.net seems so primative now, but holy shit it was a gamechanger for online multiplayer...The state of the WoW Subforum is pretty dire
80% of all people there play on private more than live. Server Emulation is to the point where it's just as good as retail(if not better if you want to play strictly vanilla). Also private servers have far less bullshit to deal with and far less guild drama. Server emulation talk happens like 90% on their reddit subforums and it's where they organize, the smaller satilite forums for specific servers and guilds are rather small and it's mostly used to organize guild specific events once in a blue moon.
If MMOs were ever to get big again giving everyone a private server would more than likely be the way to go. Basically MMO servers emerged out of limitations in technology but that barrier is no longer existent. Basically how Battle.net was in it's beginning with Diablo II.
The original Bnet was a glorified IRC server and it’s miles ahead in usability compared to the bloated launcher and cloud bullshit of today.Fucking battle.net. Goddamn I miss the real Blizzard... Yeah that's how all the private servers for MMos function. Ark and Conan Exiles also have a similar system for their live games. The original Bnet was a glorified IRC server and it’s miles ahead in usability compared to the bloated launcher and cloud bullshit of today.
Voted for KF banner phraseI'm glad to see he's moved on from imbecilic modifications for children's toys to premeditating ecoterrorism.
Lol FAU banned some guy for making fun of Jonathan Yaniv because transphobia. I didn't think he could climb any further up his own ass, but here we are.
