So janitors shouldn't be able to post in the forums they clean up? Does something awful problem happens because the mods abuse their power to automatically end any discussion that doesn't fit their narrative.

The solution is the janitors can only do moderator things from generic "FORUM SHIT-SCRUBBER #4584" accounts, but are free to post and otherwise engage with their normie accounts, which would greatly impede forum dickwaving and both toadies sucking up to mods and trolls posting to give them shit.

No one does this of course because e-peen is the only pay moderators get.

Have a feeling if we tried that on the farms some autist would do a writing analysis and root out who they really are anyway.
 
The solution is to not be so goddamn thin skinned that losing one argument makes you sperg out and ban the other person, like that somehow makes you the winner by default. If you can debate someone, lose, and then move on with your life, you'll...well, you wouldn't be posting on SA to begin with.

I'm not a mod so... huh? Like I said, it's super rare here from what I've seen. Just saying on the rare occasion it happens, it's lame and makes the mod in question look quite thin-skinned.

But yeah, mods tend to hate that idea because as someone else said, e-peen is the pay for being an internet janitor.

The mods could have socket puppet accounts for ether modding or for participating but that would put the brakes on the dick sucking.
