Finally, a return to what made SA great. Nonstop whining and pearl clutching about what is being posted.

I'm surprised the thread was allowed to be brought back, it's one of the only actual funny threads SA has had in years.

It's probably too much to hope that the fat shaming thread be allowed back while self-inflicted-diabetic admin FAU still runs the place.

How is that even a debate? Dying on Everest is the ultimate ironic fate. Rich people spending tens of thousands of dollars chasing after a commoditized accomplishment only to be too addled from the lack of oxygen to appreciate that their so-called achievement before collapsing in the ice, freezing to death and becoming an eternal monument to their own arrogance.

The china thread would have videos of people dying by huge over loaded dump trucks and all kinds of other fuckery and it didnt become a celebration of ching chong ping pong are shit drivers hell a few posters honestly expressed sympathy for those who got killed.


Now its just a weird thread and every now and then a tankie spat flairs up.

It's concern trolling but it's pretty effective.

If you complain about them shitting on the thread you are an insane death hungry psychopath.
If you point out they are concern trolling they just say you are a monster for thinking concern for life could ever be trolling.
If you argue with them at all it just helps them shit up the thread to get it closed faster.

The same people used it to shut down over a dozen different popular megathreads on anything from tumblr to video games to fat people. I'm surprised Everest is allowed back to be honest. It's a strange reversal of years of ZDR/FAU smothering the only funny content on the website because a small group of irony poisoned posters don't like it.

Odds are it's just a story he read somewhere, and odds are the person telling the story made it up because no truth could ever be sufficiently tantalizing for people like this. If it happened, it probably didn't happen as it's now being described.

Satire or not it's fucking exceptional. 'This dead person loved playing Skyrim, so the guy who made a completely different game can go fuck himself for making his game different.' It's not so much an appeal to emotion as it's an attempt to steamroll disagreement with their grief, which has nothing to do with anything the thread is actually about.

They deserved, at minimum, a lol calm down. That they got condolences is understandable but bullshit.
 
During my uncle's last days, he gamed hardcore on ultima online. His last words were "Dump... Trump..." But he let out one last groan and died. His polio stricken body was buried where his five Transexual grandchildren weeped and were beat up by the alt-right on the same day. To this day Nazis attempt to dig up his corpse to kink shame him or to make fun of him being Islamic, even in the after life

There is an old lady who plays Skyrim too much, but she's still very much alive and was invited by bethesda to have her face scanned and recorded some lines so she could be the Innkeeper to the first town in the next Elder Scrolls game.
