Pictured below is what must be the most hilarious Woke Olympics event I've seen in quite a while: MGS4 Gay Subtext Slapfight. To provide some context, the thread was discussing whether or not Adam and Eve from the videogame Nier: Automata (two male robots who are basically brothers) are gay and fucked because one is named Adam and the other is named Eve. This initial catfight spiraled into an argument about whether it was more woke to read gay subtext into Ocelot and Solid Snake's characters in Metal Gear Solid 4 or whether it was bigoted to automatically assume two men living together taking care of a little girl were gay.

My favorite thing about goon slapfights is that they argue like middle school goth kids. Both sides of the argument want desperately to be seen as not caring but still participating in an argument so you see the stereotypical phrases like "hot takes" or the lack of punctuation and one sentence replies, but you can tell on the inside they are absolutely triggered.

By 2013 or whenever it was that Ozma (fat) finally got deposed, SA was too far gone. Nothing short of a miracle would have reversed the decline.

Well yeah. The forum being so far gone is why the attempted shift toward a normal posting environment for a month or two apparently completely damaged these people for the rest of their lives. That's who is left, that is the community now. People so enraged and upset by other people having opinions they now have PTSD and can't move on.

Anyone know anything about Endorph? I've dug through his (I assume) post history before and he just screams troon to me but I haven't been able to confirm it. He's definitely a weirdo who posts a LOT about trans*, and mostly in the anime forum. Said forum is ripe for lolharvesting if this thread hasn't looked through it btw

When you live your life to be perpetually upset and outraged you can never rest and feel satisfaction like that. Sure you and ten other professional victims may have ganged up, spammed reports and shit all over every thread a "Trump Supporter" posted in until the faggot admins permabanned them out of frustration to try and stop the bullshit but look over there, someone else said that Bush was worse than Trump. I think their end goal is that the forum should have two people. One mod and one regular poster to be punished.
 
It's interesting to see someone in the journalism industry admit it's all doubling down on everything no matter what. The fact that he doesn't seem to see the real problem there, of course, kinda sucks. Namely, he's the one bringing all the toxicity and bad faith.
