None of those things became successful because of SA, they became successful because of people who either left SA or had nothing to do with it in the first place.

Remember in the mid-aughts when they were publishing a bunch of "books" that were curated selections of shitty blogs? And how anything web-related was selling? Lowtax could have made a few grand, and possibly have some royalties trickling in, if he'd have published a Cliff Yablonski and/or Leonard J Crabs book.

This. Even if he had the opportunity to make a fortune out of Let's Play, image boards, etc, he would have fucked it up. SA has never been popular or successful because of Lowtax, only despite him.

The cop thread in GBS is absolutely psychotic. Police violence is a huge problem in America, but that entire thread is filled with people posting traffic accidents with cops getting smashed by cars and then basically jerking to it. The thread would be perfectly acceptable if it was just about cataloging every police abuse incident, but it's totally not that at all it's 6 or so of that type of psychotic poster endlessly posting.

Want to kill a cop and his whole family, probation of 6 hours, it's a little too far, but say you won't date a trans person, ban for life, you're worse than 1000 Hitlers that just killed 50 troons by saying that.
 
Goons just hate cops because they are often irresponsible, get a parking ticket, refuse to pay it because "home Simpson had over 500 parking tickets lol" then get license suspension.

Then this leads them to getting caught driving on suspension. Having to go to court, they skip the date because "the new star citizen ships came out."

Further down it goes. Goons are ALWAYS at fault when it comes to cops because A) none of them are black. B) They all live in suburbia.
 
If you post anything positive about an interaction you may have had with a cop, some smug fedora tipping fat fuck will chime in with "oh yeah? you're clearly white, that's the only reason the cop was nice to you :smug:".

There used to be a poster named Tokaii who was a cop in Chicago in the 60s and 70s. He had a ton of cool stories but was eventually driven out of the board because the resident cop-haters kept shitting on him.
 
If I remember correctly (it was a while ago) he basically made the distinction between bona fide pedophiles (people who target pre-pubescent kids) and people who are attracted to teenagers who are more sexually mature. (think 16 year olds) It's a fair distinction to make and even the law in most countries makes it. Finding people sexually attractive who are through puberty is natural as nature doesn't care about any age of consent laws. Acting on it is still usually predatory and skeevy as hell though which is why there are often laws against such things. Still as he stated, such relationships aren't that unusual, especially in the more trashy parts of the population. We all know this and it isn't really a big secret.

He made the mistake of trying to explain himself and apologizing which for these types if of course only blood in the water. They basically ate him alive, called him a pedophile and etc.. It was pretty shitty and sad.
 
It was obvious the outrage against Tokaii was phony considering all the fucked up creeps who have held mod positions, as well as all the other freaks and degenerates who were never chased off. But getting an elderly excop banned is as close to fighting da power the DnD shitheads will ever get, so that's what they did.

It's basic crabs-in-a-bucket mindset. None of them are achievers in any sense (as evidenced by posting on their dead gay forum) so anyone that exhibits any sort of achievement or success or power outside of a very narrow bracket of acceptable posters is considered anathema to the goon hivemind. Hostile ironic detachment when it suits them (shitting on someone making something) and then getting pissy and resentful when those people fuckoff and become huge and successful for rightfully ignoring their petty and pointless insults/criticisms.

The authority stuff is just masochism because they love being punished and seeing other people punished.

It threw me for a loop that they all insisted on "pedophile" for Roy Moore instead of "sex offender". A middle aged man that creeps on teenage girls is a sex offender. Was that just not needy enough for them?

It seems like neediness is their method. They leap to the neediest possible interpretation of an event, and then they'll fucking fight you if you point out that what they're all saying to each other is not even accurate anymore. I've checked to see if anyone tried to draw a historic parallel from the ICE prisons to the Internment camps in World War 2, try and draw on regret for historical mistakes made in this country, and nope. Not needy enough. Gotta be concentration camps. My enemy has to be Hitler.

It must be exhausting. I can't imagine how any of these people have any energy left for a job.
