There were, at one point, other informative forums. The careers forum used to have a few successful investment bankers that posted regularly, and as far as I know, there were some very successful and clever computer programmers there as well. Insofar as the computer programming forums go, the troons sic the moderators on/hound anyone that could theoretically disagree with them, so the successful people stopped posting. It's a shame, the forums at one point were a very good resource for a lot of technical subjects.

I spent waaay to much time bouncing around the sub forums but yeah the car forum, and computer etc. I remember the tech support crowd would kinda gang up on any goon looking to snoop on his girl friend/ wife's computer. saying he should just trust her etc. but your right. I dont why the SJW crew would run off people who knew their shit. I still love grover getting owned and I think it weird the mods are soo salty about grover hause

I think the goldmansachs banker got banned he used to post in the china thread the most evil of all threads.

I also liked the idea of hell dump, a proper flaming sub and garbage day was a great idea prove your funny or get out. I think helldump should be like a Brigadoon situation have it once every few years and let people just eat eachother.

Grover used to be very popular with the off sites' posters as one of the only remotely non-leftist political posters. I think its a shame that everybody hates him now, even if his house was a catastrophe.

I still laugh at the thread "post here everytime 3 olives mentions how rich and gay he is"

like I said a sub that is "pro flaming" and garbage day is a good idea letting people post a call out thread "even though the act of posting the call out thread means you are fair game to be voted off the forum, same for who ever comes to defend themselves.

The problem is that just like fyad etc it became a circle jerk after they got all the low hanging fruit. hence the whole make is a seasonal thing.

I would love to see FAU try to be cool in a new helldump and then get voted off.

The SJW crowd ran off people that knew their shit whenever it disagreed with their world view.

You can't talk about reality or facts when a liberal, trannie or POC wants to flip the fuck out about something. The Moderation won't let you because your facts or first hand knowledge is immediately assumed by the moderator and the SJW as anathema to their ideas.

A recent example is FAU straight banning people that responded to his REEEEEEing about police murders with actual statistics that directly contradicted what he was saying. Therefore the person posting the statistics was evil and was justifying the slaughter of blacks and was deserving of a ban.

Get rid of the registration fee but keep avatar purchases. Bring back weekend web and other stuff people liked. Update the complete shit front page and make a easy index. Make a SJW sub-forum and demand all politicals & E/N group threads flow there. Murder FAU and get involved with promoting your gamergarbage shit. Instead of banning people hoping for register cash, sell better merchandise.

But I guess that takes effort.

It's a combination of his chronic inability to fucking do anything and that SA created itself and he is completely out of touch with it.

Anything at all I've seen from him on the subject of the moderation in the past year has been defending it and claiming it actually isn't strict enough. He blames his traffic cratering on the forums not going far enough in thought policing. It's why he supported closing GBS and the official word justifying that decision was that catlady GBS exploding in 2013 was responsible for SA's sharp downturn in popularity because things got too problematic.

If that revenue history is to be believed, what actually started the death of SA was Obamamania. It had been holding at $400,000+ for three years until 2008.

To be fair to Lowtax if I hadn't done a single second of work since the Clinton administration I would also probably have trouble getting motivated.

I doubt I would have laid down in a drunken stupor for twenty years while my business slowly crumbles but that is besides the point.
 
I've posted before about how I have a situation the kinda mirrors lowtax, in that I depend on someone else to do work for me while I just collect a passive income and thats basically been his dream/reality for 20 years.

Long story short I had to man up hire god damn professionals to look at shit and explain it to me. I cant figure out why lowtax wont pay for professionals to just explain to him

1) what the situation is
2) what his options are

and he just make some choices based on that.


Also is ZDR back or something?
