I want to say it involved some scammer trying to trick a Goon into sending him a Powerbook . The Goon dressed up an empty box like a Powerbook, wrote "P-p-p-power Book on it", sent it to the scammer, and posted the scammer's reaction. Keep in mind this was back 20-25 years ago when it was common to buy something on ebay, send a money order or cash to the seller and then the seller would send you the item after they got their money in the mail.

There was another one where someone ordered like a router or something off the internet or Craigslist and when he opened it I think there just a rock and a scrap of paper tied to it that said PUTA in big letters. That was a classic. Might have even been a FYAD background for a while.

No but I suddenly remember another E/N thread. Fat goon was employed in a warehouse or a setting where everyone had headsets so they could communicate. His headset was faulty in some way and sent out burst of static from time to time which lead to complaints about him barking into the microphone so his manager told him he needs to stop. But the static bursts continued and the complaints about the obese barker kept rolling in... This led to a mental breakdown(but not a mass shooting, SA wasn't quite there yet).
 
Printer goon's username was Borky (why do I remember these things)

I always thought the chick was a sociopath for asking him to lug a printer across town. And she couldn't even clean up the laundry strewn about her room? I mean, panties on the bed? How gauche.

Not that I'm removing blame from printer goon himself. He was catastrophically pathetic and made all the wrong decisions.

The only decent person in the story was the boyfriend. And the Canon corporation.
