The site isn't "very" right wing in the way that /pol/ is, but most of the lolcows and communities who get mocked are progressives rather than nationalists, so it's inevitably more conservatives than liberals mocking them. I've seen a fair bit of /pol/ type conspiracy theory crap flying around on threads for political cows like Bob Chipman and Antifa.
To be sort of on topic I bet a kiwifarms helldump would be a fascinating, if short-lived and incredibly destructive, sight. There's people here who've sworn up and down their belief in things so laughably stupid enough times that they're either retarded or pretending to be consistently enough that they might as well be.
On the other hand, I'm sure there's people who'd say the same thing about my posting history.
At any rate, 'progressive' is a pretty broad spectrum, and not one you necessarily need to be conservative to make fun of. SJW types who scream about how literally all white men are evil are pretty amusing for most people here, wherever their political beliefs lie. On the other hand, posts being scornful of more grounded viewpoints crop up in more than a few community watch threads, even if they're in a minority.
Nah that's nonsense,
@Marjan Šiklić and
@Mikemikev are right wing racist types and they have some of the longest and most mocked threads on the forum. Hell
@Marjan Šiklić has three threads, something no left wing cow has accomplished.
It's the case for community watch, though. I think it's because those particular people are (presumably, I haven't looked at either thread) idiots who nobody really agrees with, but the communities tend to be a little broader. I guess there's no real way of knowing other than making a thread for Stormfront and seeing if people start chiming in about how the guy posting about how Sandy Hook was a false flag attack or all LGBT people are mentally ill degenerates are actually correct or not.
You know, it's funny, the Farms is the only forum I've been a member of where I don't feel like people shit on me for having conservative views. Considering it's a forum dedicated to gossiping about aspies, I find that rather saddening.
You might not be looking at the right sites, then (or you've got a much farther right definition of 'conservative' than I do). Most of the places I've been to on the internet leaned more right than anything.
We live in a world where just a couple days ago a burrito business was shut down because it was ran by two white girls so there is your answer on why the left is getting more attention. The left is the establishment right now despite their fetish for portraying themselves as the underdog.
Uh, isn't the right in control of the house, senate, etc in the US right now? Or are you implying that say, China or Russia has a left wing establishment?
Personally I'm of the opinion that authoritarian-vs-libertarian is a more important spectrum these days than left-vs-right. That might be off topic, but given that the excesses of authoritarianism are clearly governing the rule of many a forum such as SA I don't think it is.
It might just be my own biases but authoritarian vs libertarian doesn't quite sound right either. The implication of the terms feels more extreme leaning. If someone said "I'm right wing" or "I'm left wing" I wouldn't think much of it, but if someone said "I'm an authoritarian" or "I'm a libertarian" I'd picture the gestapo and Ayn Rand.
...So, how 'bout that Something Awful, huh?
