Yeah, so. Long story short, she and I kind of fell off a few years ago, she decided to leave, we did some marriage counseling, she agreed to stay and give things another go but was never really happy. Recently she got her own broken brain a bit more in order and worked her way up management track at her job and finally found stable footing to leave and not be homeless on her own financially (Spoiler: She learned she wasn't quite making enough. Had to get a second job anyway) and around the same time she met a guy online and they started long distance dating.
I did some snooping on her computer because I got paranoid, found their private messages, she was telling him all about her plans to leave long before she had someone to launch off onto.
So she's moved out, I filed for divorce last week, we're doing a debrief style end of marriage marriage counseling just to try to make us both less crazy when this all shakes out. I'd like to continue being friends with her, we've been together for 21 years, I don't know if I'm going to manage to stay friends, she drives me up a wall.
I did post a couple dirty photos of her I had taken to Discord, I had her permission to share them, but I removed them under suggestion of the guys in the Discord. Don't share them around publicly, that's all I ask. She's literally planning on starting an OF, at least give her the $5 or whatever she wants for a sub lol.
So the outcome is she's not contesting me keeping the house, we've split all the possessions pretty fairly, I wrote a clause in our marriage settlement agreement guaranteeing her space for storage because she moved into a tiny little studio apartment, and I'm generally a nice guy even if you aren't that nice, it's just who I am.
And nothing ever happened with her kayaking trip friend, that woman is the straightest woman I have met, she is man crazy. She might cut you if you suggested she may be into women.
