Then they blame the algorithms for making the public reject their ideology of fuckyoudadism, rather than entertain the idea that their arguments are crap and the ideology is repulsive to anyone who's not a self-loathing shitlib stuck in 2011.

It wasn't the only place doing that, that became a popular type of YouTube hot take a video too, it was the paradigm of the 2010s to seem super smart by digging into history in the most superficial, lib validating way possible. I feel like it's more that SA got infected by the same type of person, a specific type of younger millennial who projected their identity out as lib hot takes

The long and short of it - Wife started rethinking us back when I voted Trump in 2016 because she's a super leftist. 2020 she gets a depression diagnosis, gets put on an SSRI, suffered a rare symptom known as "emotional blunting" and basically fell out of love with me, banged one of her friends a couple times while staying around a few years longer, finally decided once she got her shit together to that she was leaving. She met a dude online at a coincidental time (I've read their private chats, she even admitted to him back when they were just flirting that she had decided to leave me and them meeting like they had was going to make things really hard/awkward during the divorce) and basically started a long distance relationship with him at least a month before telling me it was over. She moved out a month and a half later and has been visiting him/going out and hooking up a bunch, they're now in a "POLY RELATIONSHIP" because she decided she's never really liked monogamy even when she married me she says. So new guy supports her going out and being a slag because he's into that apparently.

The guy is super goony and she's gonna learn real fast that just because he does the sex stuff she likes and encourages her to go get laid doesn't mean he's going to be a great partner. He lives in a little attic apartment, drives a falling apart beater car (When she drove to see him, he told her they'd have to use her car all weekend because his wasn't going to make it), works a job even shittier than mine, and admits that he lives on oatmeal and PB&J because it's all he can afford/bother to eat... but she convinced him that he can manage to choke down some broccoli now and then covered in cheese and it won't hurt him. She's gonna end up his sugar mama if they stay together. And she plans on either him moving up to our city to live with her in this little 575 square foot studio she's renting, or moving down to his little attic apartment when her lease is up. While one of her complaints about my 1500 square foot house was she didn't have enough space lol. She thinks she's gonna just go out and buy a house with him shortly after, good luck.

So now I just either need to A) Get used to being alone or B) Use my great looks and personality to find someone new.

Yeah i remember thinking the SA people were so cool in like 2006, then when obama went off the rails 2011-2012 it became apparent they were all in a "fuck you dad" tree fort, and as i grew up and built a life they stayed terminally poisoned by irony and more and more became internet speech police instead of using the forums as a way of engaging real life.

I'm really sorry all of that happened to you, it sucks and while it is good she's going to get some karmic backlash, it also sucks that she is doing all this to herself and that must be complex for you.
