What happened to TB?

Edit: I'm I found it. Lowtax must be softening. He shadowbanned VB and only banned TB. TB is one of the most hated posters next to KM.

Looks like Lowtax has gone on The Dick Show, and it's online to hear now. Haven't had a chance to listen yet, myself. It's the newest one, episode 41.

Damn, I probably won't have time to listen for a couple days.

It's smart of this Jabberlock fellow to signal that his ears bled at the attempt to listen to a podcast that's too far right to be on the approved list though. That should buy him some breathing room. Is Lowtax going to get lynched by his people for this appearance?
 
After posting here for like a week I've kind of noticed that kiwifarmers are kind of actually huge pussies that try to dish it out but can't take it. Like Lowtax. That's too bad. I guess the entire internet has been pussified in the last decade. Thanks Obama.

That whole thread is basically goons signalling like that, or suggesting he fuck with Dick by acting goofy and zany, and even Lowtax himself was considering using the shittiest mic he could find. I'm curious what ended up happening.

Nah, SA outlawed being funny years ago. Now you can either be angry about videogames or be offended by someone's gender. Unless of course you're offended about angry genders in videogames, in which case they make you a mod.

Definitely this. The day the site where nothing was sacred decided there were going to be "protected classes" on the forums was the day the humor died.

A good example is how they loved to claim moral high ground during gamergate by insisting discussion of it in any way, pro or anti was forbidden, but hanging around 5 minutes anywhere, I'd see long autistic screeds against men, gamers, etc go unbanned and collect praise while anyone who showed an opinion to the contrary was banned for misogyny.

Or the fact that you have to make sure someone isn't a troon or a minority before you insult them, lest you eat a ban.

It's become pretty obvious there are certain views you're just not allowed to have there, despite the insistence that's not the case.
 
So I started reading Let's Play again, because apparently I'm a masochist, and came across a truly delightful person in the currently-running Jade Empire LP.

Short background for the less :autism:: For anyone not familiar, Jade Empire is a fantasy/wuxia hybrid done by Bioware in 2005. As was usually the case back then, they had a faux-Chinese language, Tho Fan, constructed to add depth to the world (read: save on the voice acting budget by having people record a few lines in Tho Fan, then copy/pasting those as needed - if you played KotoR, you've seen this in action before).

Interestingly, if you go to the article that stone cold linked, it doesn't support his conclusions at all - the article mentions nothing about a "servile race" (just a servant class, which got changed later anyway), and there's nothing to indicate that the guy who made the stupid video game conlang was racist in any way. Unless you've been drinking the kool-aid, I guess. Also, if these guys feel this way about white people making a game about Fantasy Asia, I wonder how they feel about Asians making games set in Fantasy Europe? Oh wait, power structures etc. etc.

As mentioned earlier in the thread, I haven't been on SA in years and years, so seeing how bad it's gotten myself is kinda :heart-empty:, as autistic as that is.
 
um actually, unlike Something Awful members, KiwiFarms users are a cowardly bunch who cant take what they try to dish.
 
BTW that Stone Cold person is a crazy black woman who posts in the Misongynoir thread which is by and for crazy black women. She's like Tiny Brontosaurus and Koala's March as far seeing race in every single interaction and screaming at everyone about it constantly. It's like these peoples' only interest.
