I think the registration fee has become a problem whereas in the past it wasn't one. Their forum is shrinking and they don't really have incentive for new people to come aboard, especially not with how heavyhanded their moderation has become.

If I were the Taxman I'd drop the registration fee to $5 and introduce a sort of free-account 'proving ground' where people can sign up for free but they're restricted to the proving ground, and users can quite literally drop a fiver to let people they like into the rest of the forum. And that would most likely involve users creating content - which is what they want. Content has been scarce.
Until the leftist mods are removed normal people aren't going to want to be there, regardless of the price. It's not like getting probated for disagreeing with the ratking of leftist shitheads will piss someone off less if they only wasted 5 dollars instead of 10.

Regarding SA finding new ways to make money, I'll just quote my old ideas (they still apply if Lowtax isn't planning on purging the SJWs, and if he does just replace my instances of left-wing things with the right-wing equivalent):
Although, thinking about it, if you weren't lazy and incompetent you could actually turn a decent profit exploiting these retаrds by setting up a system where they can pay money to vent their hatred at normal society. You already have the feature of users being able to buy custom titles and avatars for people who commit wrongthink, if you extended this type of thing and plugged it into their desire to virtue signal then the jobless social science/women's studies majors could be herded into providing you with their pocket money/welfare as a regular commitment.

For example: have a board that covers the subject of current events allow users to buy adornments for each other's posts that symbolize an endorsement, and have the ones adorned the most featured in a weekly awards thread that gets posted onto the greater internet.
The way these sperglords chimp out over the little blue star on twitter that shows you suck SJW dick... Can you imagine the money you make preying on the self-importance of these college liberals, allowing them to feel self-worth for a moment for the low price of a few bux?

Have pages dedicated to celebrities and politicians that leftists don't like, basically a type of Wiki, and implement a feature that allows people to pay to have their incredibly clever jokes, observations and political statements ("DAE le Drumpf = literally Hitler? More like RethugKKKlicans! Capitalism is violence!") featured on these pages then post the "best" of these on sites like twitter (along with SA's URL, of course).
You could transfigure your otherwise worthless menagerie of depressive societal dregs into that sweet Ambien money.

not even co-mod, just ask us for a list of the trash users and the proof is right there in the posting history

whoever said ban or earmark everyone with negative post counts thats probably a good start.

If he was serious, he'd have ganked the record from the database, like he did for voidburger.
I believe lowtax is starting to realize that his current goon crop is old and set in their ways.
Appealing to a younger crowd is the only way he'll get more money and the old hotpockets are standing in the way.
Hopefully the logic of money will convince him to go exterminatus with extreme prejudice on the impudent hotpocket motherfuckers.

Seriously, they fucking openly admitted to using BBG to get the shmorky thread closed. It was blatant before then, but I still can't believe the lack of guile. Also, if you click on the post that got him permabanned according to the lepers colony, its him denying that the 'merge gbs and d&d' idea was a concern troll.

ZDR is the one that unpermabanned BBG last time. This is going to be fun.

Also, the person that said he should make registration free and charge for things like changing others' name/title has the right idea.

Or make most of the main forums visible and have two-tiered registration which packages SA into "basic" which would be free and "full access" which would not. There are a ton of different models used by other forums. You could even have free members able to comment but not start threads, and mods could hand out upgrades to those who make good comments.

FAU closed the thread with this post. What an utter slimeball.

They already have (had?) it set up to do this, albeit with different criteria. Even when the paywall was down, non-members couldn't see stuff like TCC.
