Nah, I bet Ambien could actually handle doing that without much issue. She strikes me as the type who actually knows how to hammer down on shit and force the other person's hand a bit. The way she handled herself against the whole crazy outbursts of Shmorky and his ex showed backbone. And it might end up being sexually transmitted because Lowtax has seemed a lot more like the Lowtax of yore these past few months. I'm not saying they'll win out, but I'm saying that there's so evidence of it being a possibility

It had many many stages first alot of the mod were women so mocking women became a no no. But for years there has been a trend of certain kinda thinking no being allowed. I first noticed anytime a thread would tread on the idea of fat people it would get gassed but yeah a common IMO is to get a few fuckers shitting up a thread and rather then probate a few of them it would just get closed.

It used to be completely savage where if you were dumb you got attacked and mocked for a bit. Stuff like hall of shame on Photoshop Friday and such. There used to be organized raids on other forums and pages where you would shit up their guestbook or whatever. Awful link of the day was pretty much go troll these fucks. It was far looser and mean spirited but essentially everything was fine unless you came in ranting about hate speech or something real fucking dumb.

However the elitism and unwarranted self importance just got more and more toxic. Go look at how goons operate in any game or community elsewhere and they carry themselves like they are a bunch of royalty amongst the pubbie colonial rabble. The better then everyone else nature is what really let the SJW crowd slip in and proliferate. Since its not about combating problems in society or actual injustice as much as bashing someone who used a naughty word cause they are a subhuman bigot. Then bragging about how you got some racist banned on the forums in vain dual hope of getting accepted by the tribe and not being the next sacrifice upon the altar of tolerance.

This is the climate that allowed Shmork to flourish for a decade of creeping on the forums. Gone were the days of mocking someone for being genuinely unfunny or having your sick power level exposed. It instead got replaced with a endless stream of Muslim style oppression where everyone is frustrated that they have to live under an insane amount of rules or get their hands/posting privileges cut off. That they can't help but go fucko bazoo and release that pent up rage on anyone who is declared a safe target due to their bigotry, real or imagined.

It was never the best place to be, but bad then and bad now are two different things. Back then, they'd mock you with no shame. Nowadays they just rage at any and everyone. Whether or not it's offsite or within its own filth doesn't matter any more. And as bad as it may have been back then, it sure as shit wouldn't hold a candle to how shit it's become since then.

This is why people weren't getting too excited about Lowtax promising to fix things. We've seen this happen before and his options get down to purging all the mods/admins and actively running the place himself or being an absentee landlord and letting the mod/admins do whatever the fuck they want.

He's sold out to the extent that he's effectively unwelcome on his own forum. Most people would just shut it down rather than let that state of affairs continue, but Lowtax isn't most people.

Nah, she melted down when she was actively modding GBS before. She banned people for saying bad things about pitbulls, FFS.

Granted she was pregnant at the time, but she made quite a few tweets about not liking the internet much and you cannot admin a forum like SA without being able to tolerate things you don't like.
 
This issue is more that he can and occasionally does fix stuff, but then he fucks back off to video games/twitter without addressing the systemic issues and lets it return to being a shitshow.

I'm still confused about why in the world he thought it was a good idea to mod sassy black lady who sees racism in everything and just posts gifs.

Because he didn't check her post history to see whether she was part of the problem. It doesn't occur to Lowtax that when users suggest a mod in a hugbox forum they're going to suggest one who'll maintain the hugbox rather than someone who is even-handed. I don't think it's malice on his part. I really think he's just clueless.

It's like when he made his pregnant wife admin and sent her to fix the forums. He should have known exactly what would happen but for some reason didn't consider how much hostility would be directed her way.

Lowtax is a bit like someone stuck in a bad marriage. He puts in the minimum effort to maintain SA rather than ending it because even though he hates the place, shutting it down would have real life consequences for him. It might not bring in a huge income, but he'd have to find a way to replace what it does bring in.

Given that it's a mostly passive income source for him, the path of least resistance is to simply ignore it most of the time. Any attempts to change it just create drama which he can easily avoid by leaving it alone.

KM will be gone, it's inevitable at this point. However, it won't happen within the next week.

Lowtax and the rest of the admins hate the community so much they don't want to make it seem like valid criticism from posters is what did KM in. She'll quietly slink away like all the other shit mods have.

I wish we had mod forum leaks. Probably lots of juicy drama over FAU and KM.

They actually did this when SS was targeting their mods because they didn't want it to appear like the mod departures were the result of pressure from SS.

Nah, FYAD does this for their own amusement. I.N.R.I. concern trolls relentlessly. BBG, Sid and Synthy tend to do it only when they're in the mood for creating forums drama. The mods/admins are the tools/shields of FYAD, not the other way around.
