Jesus Christ, both of those sound like absolutely horrible ways to die. I'm no doctor, so I googled it, and it seems like Aphid's yellow fluid was actually pus due to cellulitis, which means something was infected (that something being her skin). Who the hell knows if it was an abscess, but it must have been really, really bad for her in the end. By the way, here's a medical paper about heroin injections causing cellulitis, which makes a lot of sense since Aphid jammed shit into her veins until she died.*ThatDamnJew - One of the countless TCC (the drug use forum) posters to die, notable because he nodded off in his car on opiates/benzos and then cooked in the heat like a turkey. His wife appeared on the forum to ask for advice on how to commit insurance fraud for his death.
*SunburntAphid - Woman who was shooting truly staggering amounts of heroin. Even when she posted about her arm leaking yellow fluid, TCC posters told her that rehab was useless and that she should just take acid instead.
As for TDJ, he probably died of heatstroke since all his cells got fucked. Not a doctor, but if he really did die of heatstroke his blood would have thickened and he would probably have thrown up, drifted into a coma, and died. What a horrific way to go, as this research paper explains. Cooked alive like the tale of a frog in a pot of boiling water. Man, that's depressing:
Each heatstroke victim responds differently to these extreme internal temperatures, but a sequence of events might go like this: at 105 to 106 degrees, your limbs and core are convulsed by seizures. From 107 to 109, you begin vomiting and your sphincter releases. At 110 to 111, your cells begin to break down. Proteins distort. Liver cells die; the tiny tubes in your kidneys are grilled. The large Purkinje neurons in your cerebellum vanish. Your muscle tissues disintegrate. The sheaths of your blood vessels begin to leak, causing hemorrhaging throughout your body, including your lungs and heart. There is now blood in your vomit. You develop holes in your intestines, and toxins from your digestive tract enter your bloodstream. In a last-ditch effort, your circulatory system responds to all the damage by clotting your blood, thinking your vessels have been severed. This triggers what physicians call a clotting cascade.
As your insides melt and disintegrate, purple hemorrhagic spots appear on your skin. Those, the bloody vomit, and your convulsions are the only external hints of total internal annihilation.
