With all the money and power they have they easily could have kidnapped a group of 50 or so goons (no-one would miss them after all) and put them on a deserted island filled with cameras, the amount of money they could have made purely from making it a reality tv show alone would have been enough to make it worth it.

Setting aside the obvious "F95 gross shit" factor, how (non)-secure are Goons' cybersecurity? Because given that this is yet another textbook case of "person using username on multiple sites gets caught doing stupid creepy shit" I have a feeling most of them don't give two shits about it.
Then again, given that Astral and Jeffrey had to perma several accounts because they got compromised by a credential stuffing attack and reused their passwords... yeah, it's probably shit.

Remember that even ten years ago, being "outted" as being on F95 would have at most gotten you mocked unless you had managed to get under the skin of the Catlady Mods or a Mod's toadie.

Longer back, being a "Something awful goon" was a point of pride. Of course you wanted to register with your main virtual identity on SA, and use that ID everywhere so you can be a big shot "That's right, I'm also Punkin_Defender on SA".
And of course it also used to be there was no social media. Who cares if you are "NiggerStomper53" on every forum you frequent and they know what forums you post on? Or even if they somehow managed to get your picture or learn your power word. What are they going to do? Get every white pages from every area code?
But now, thanks to the power of human vanity, that poor opsec now matters. They can find out your name, your address, your employer.
