He didn’t have to resolve it, and although you can see how hesitant he was to give the cop even that, he DID give it up.

That cop didn’t give a fuck whether that dog went to the pound or not. That was all to get at least someone connected to this dude that they could check out. He was doing pretty well up until that point, though.

He’s got 2 charges on him, one is a Class A Felony, the other a Gross Misdemeanor. My prediction is that this entire thing is going to be memory-holed in the next couple of days. This guy will get arraigned and then get bailed out by his family. They’ll get a lawyer who will drag the process out for about a year and end up getting deal where this guy ends up pleading to the Gross Misdemeanor charge in exchange for the Felony being dropped. Sentence will probably be “time served” with a couple years of Probation. Best case is he pleads to a lesser felony in exchange for the Gross Misdemeanor being dropped but even then with no prior record he’ll get a suspended sentence with a few years of Supervision. Of course, by the time he actually appears in court for sentencing, everyone will have forgotten all about him.

If internet has a future at all. I can see future where localized LAN networks hooked together creating a decentralised network replaces internet due to death of anonymity, spying and over reaching politics.

I can see that happening when I kick the bucket. I'll just remember there was fuckton of oldfags, farms and failed dreams of "free speech" sites which fell like Rome.

Rest assured despite differing opinions and mistakes we all have made,I will miss you fuckers

Quite. Ugly things happen when you stare into the Internet abyss too long. On that note, I feel kinda bad for post-millennial kids who have to grow up completely drenched in Internet/social media.

As for the Internet, I always figured a hyper-sanitized and hyper-corporate walled garden was in its future. Didn't expect it to be hyper-woke, too. Not quite AOL back in the old days, but close enough.

I expect Null to just fuck off, one day, without warning. No vans, no glownigger tactics, just Null deciding he's had enough of staring into the Internet abyss. I wouldn't be mad at him.
