So what kinda jokes are allowed there now?
Do posters even risk trying to be funny?
So sad that they took something entertaining and nice and just turned into a safe little hugbox with zero redeeming qualities.
They could have done that literally anywhere, made some gay little forum or just a discord server today.

GBS is all just one sentence posts of people attempting to be waka waka funny and completely failing.

The first page has a Simpsons meme thread that people still regularly post in. Everyone else moved on from the Simpsons like 15 years ago but not the dorks of SomethingAwful.

You do have to remember, the average poster there is 40+ and has chosen trooning out as their primary solution to the mid-life crisis. They will wank about how the golden age Simpsons is still better than anything else made back then.

Yeah, I took my oldest to airsoft in Phoenix two weeks back and there was a tranny maybe a few years younger than I am with his son. Dude was damn near 40 with old favorites covered in pink patches with ponies and ugly flags with kitty cat ears on his helmet. His fat son looked so embarrassed and you could tell the kid didn't want to be there and it was totally his faggot father's totally feminine hobby that he was dragging the kid to.

I'm sure that dude has posted in GBS before now that I think about it

To be fair, Simpsons crap memes are fairly amusing but you should note that they're just getting them from other sources and posting them in the thread, hence why they're actually funny versus what you'd expect Current Year goons would be capable of creating within the strict confines of acceptable political thought.
