This whole situation kinda reminds me of Kyle Rittenhouse. Not because this antifa aspie is innocent, but because every one of these black bedecked faggots is a piece of shit.

With the Rittenhouse situation, he shoots three people and they're all scum, the first being a pedophile, the second being a domestic abuser, and the third having a rap sheet a mile long.

With this new guy, while in this case he is the shooter, one thing remains the same. Where the other's were pedos or felons, this guy is perhaps the worst of them all, he's an avid user of SA.
 
It'll probably just be a very lenient plea deal.

Neither party has much incentive to go to trial. The DA has to worry about a random jury member refusing to convict Antifa lad due to the juror's political inclinations. This is Washington, after all. DAs are very concerned about winning at trial. Their career depends on it, to an absurd degree. They have one of the few jobs in America where you'll actually get fired for being bad.

And the Antifa lad has to worry about doing years in prison in the event he is convicted. Besides, I imagine he has financial constraints. I bet his parents will get him a nice-ish attorney. But unless they are wealthy people, this will be a considerable expense, and they'll want to get this resolved quickly. Trials take long, cost a lot of money, and could go anywhere. For him, the worst case scenario is bankrupting his parents and spending years getting raped in prison.

Both parties want to avoid trial. They'll work out something. Antifa guy will probably see some prison time, but not much.
 
Kyle Rittenhouse was self-defense all the way through, he was justified, and he should walk on all charges. In fact, never should have been charged.

That asshole just opened fire at random in a crowd without being threatened.

I agree, that's why I said "Not because this antifa aspie is innocent" it reminded me of the Rittenhouse situation because in both cases, every named member of antifa involved is a piece of shit

To be fair, 99.9% of the the public interest in SA comes after a shooting or some other event where they've inspired someone to kill/attempt to kill. I'd shut it down ASAP too.

assault with a deadly weapon is a class a felony that gets upgraded since he used a gun (I think). we're talking over a decade in jail.

im not saying he doesnt plea down, because im... somewhat sure he will. but zero jail time? unlikely.

You want explanations from them but they won't give them to you. Here's why. Many of these types actually do know what they're doing and they know exactly what they want. They argue in bad faith to purposefully destroy language and philosophy through false equivalencies and the misuse of specific words. This is done to stifle ideas they disagree with. If you were able to nail down a proper definition of fascism you might then go on to evaluate the merits of such a system. You might even like it. They can't have that, so they dumb down popular political discourse by seeking to deprive others of the linguistic tools required to rebel.

Read Rules for Radicals. If nothing else, rule 6 applies when they get you to dance like a monkey with its hair on fire every time you ask them for a definition of fascism or communism or some other 'ism of the week.

The motivations of the individual vary. A lot of them are just paraphiliacs and criminals. It's why they like democracy; it's a type of organized unaccountability that can be easily shaped into an anarcho-tyranny that will spare them while punishing those who seek to impose order. They're the same useful idiots the Bolshevik leadership used and then threw away a century ago.

I miss the days when you could pick up a copy of Shotgun News at the gun show and get a belt feed conversion kit for pretty much any gun for like $20.

Nothing seems less useful and a waste of time than a belt feed for a Browning A5, but I thought about it every time. If any of my A5s weren't Belgiums i probably would have just for the stupid factor.

It's also antifa fucking around and finding out in both cases. In Rittenhouse's case because they thought it'd be a good idea to swarm a guy with a rifle. And in le SA face's case here because he probably thought he'd be able to go bash some fash while the local authorities let him, got run the fuck off and tried shooting wildly while running away to salve his wounded ego while finding out later that the cops aren't going to let him get away with it. The DA might though so who knows.
