All this recent outpouring of white guilt is depressing. I'm seriously thinking about avoiding the news for a while. A long while! I never would have imagined that American society would implode like this. White guilt is the true enemy of Western civilization.

They believe their own lies about all blacks having a sense of brotherhood, and then assume the same applies to whites. So a poor white man should in their view easily be able to get out of that rut with a little help from a rich one, and through this more white people being rich means all whites are privileged. There might also be some cartoonishly racist BS about how the system priorities white aptitudes and white ways of thinking, due to being built by white people, making it easier for the poor white guy to pull himself up by his bootstraps.

I have to wonder how many of them actually mean it and aren't just parroting this nonsense for asspats and social media currency. People constantly re-posting and re-sharing the same tired infographics, memes and images makes me think at least half of it is damage control in case their SJW-minded friends, bosses, or relatives harass them over why they're aren't "supporting the cause."

What even IS the cause, anyway? I know the "unspoken" cause is to strip anyone who isn't black of their wealth and alleged "power" and redistribute it, but there's still no defined overall "cause." It started as "end police brutality" (again, I think most rational humans would agree with that sentiment) and has now grown like thirty different legs as different movements continue to co-opt whatever "it" is. I guess now it's abolish all police, abolish the state and....????

I would wager any rational, sane human would agree that racism is bad and we shouldn't intentionally hurt each other. I think most people would also agree that those who do evil things should be cast out of society or kept away from more peaceful members. These nu-Woke Activists talk down to anyone who isn't as dogmatically "woke" (code: brainwashed) as they are as if we are all morally akin to cannibalistic warlords, and it's solely through their own social media sperging that people's eyes will be opened and humanity itself will be "saved."

Honestly agree with the cult analogies. The far left is currently very religious in nature (though they seem to worship their ideology in place of a deity), and their shame-based rhetoric reminds me a lot of Evangelical Christianity and the kind of lunacy a la Jesus Camp we saw from the ultra-religious in the mid to late -'00s.
