This isn't about the broader SJW behavior. I like to think that my history on this very thread shows that I'm not a fan of it.

It's about the sensationalist nonsense on par with "Every political change I don't like means we are living in 1984!" bullshit whereby Anti-GG is somehow destroying the core of gaming by getting people to remove jokes about transsexuals from games, making shit like Depression Quest, and giving themselves pats on the back.

My point is that this idea that you shouldn't care about things until it passes an arbitrary level of significance, which seems to differ from person to person and can be moved at any time, is absurd. Most people, for example, would draw a line at SJWs physically pushing people as significant enough to stop ignoring them. You don't. You shouldn't have to wait until they're about to destroy gaming or turn society into 1984 before you try and stop corruption.

It was a throwaway joke, geez. I actually agree with a lot of what you said, I was just commenting on how awful and forced that program looked, and how what could be a positive message is instead conveyed in a forced SJW manner that turns people off from what they would under most circumstances agree with. (Not to mention the graphics sucked.)

Anyone seen The Island with Bear Grylls?

I've been watching it recently and I don't think its a fair set up. There are two islands, one for 14 men and one for 14 women. No camera crews but instead the islanders themselves have to film everything with cameras and GoPros stuck on their heads.
There was a season before this that featured only men and it received a lot of criticism because of that, which is why they have two teams this time. Both teams have been given 3 knives, 3 machetes and some basic fishing equipment.

I say its an unfair set up because so far the women have had a desalination kit, fire starting equipment and spare water wash up on shore. Also a few suspiciously friendly piglets. Meanwhile on the men's island they have crocodiles and little else.
There's also been some strange editing choices. For example, in the latest episode the women are on Day 7 and struggling, but doing better than the men, or so Bear Grylls keeps saying. But then again, the men are on like Day 20 or something, which seems like an unfair comparison.

 
I brought it up earlier, but I've noticed how the English Wikipedia is getting a certain bias in hot button issues, so it would seem. For an encyclopedia that anyone can edit, why is it that articles on hot button issues tend to link to articles that are opinion pieces and editorials a lot? I've even seen the English Wikipedia link to TV Tropes and Kotaku once on a particular controversial social issue.

I heard on /pol/ that many SJWs managed to reach the top in wikipedia and managed to get a lot of editing privileges. so since it's a circlejerk peer reviewing, of course they would only accept confirmation bias.

These classes are more about the people creating them and conducting them than the people attending them. They get to feel good, pad their resume, and collect a paycheck.
Everyone else in attendance is staring off into space. They couldn't give a fuck if they actually accomplish anything, if anyone is paying attention or even if anything they're saying has any basis in reality.
