Funny thing about the ending to the first Ace Ventura film is that Finkle became a woman not because he thought he was one but because he would use the identity of a missing hiker (name at least) then join the police, slowly building some sort of reputation (and possible connections since his two lackeys are criminals who agreed since he'd use his power of authority to save their hides from the law) before trying to off both a dolphin and a football player. Also bet there are female police officers, transgenders, and homosexuals who found the captain winky scene to be hilarious.

Regarding weird triggers, apparently this girl is triggered by Juggalos. As far as I can tell, this is not a troll blog, and it is not some RP blog.

To be fair, I am also triggered by Juggalos. *shudder*
It makes me laugh my ass off that "Shit Rich College Kids Say" is the name of a SJW blog because it's unintentionally the perfect description of what all SJW blogs amount to.

Also ugggh my dorm just posted an article called "The Difference Between Cultural Exchange and Cultural Appropriation" on its Facebook page. Spoiler: It's cultural appropriation if doing the action is "an exercise in privilege". You know, unlike going to a fancy fucking liberal arts college instead of a community one. Hypocritical shitheads.

Was it this one?

Scroll down to the bottom and look at the first comments, where a rich white girl tries to explain to a Pakistani-born Muslim woman that a hijab is simply an expression of her faith and not a symbol of a male establishment trying to keep her in check. (Yeah, I know, that sounded pretty SJW itself, but you know.)

... I thought you were joking. o.o

To be far, I'm triggered by Juggalos.
And I got PTSD from "hurtful" comments about my (pseudo)feminist views on twitter. And it is far worse than what any veteran has ever experienced. OT, but when you have a photo of yourself looking this on the internet and you post your PTSD BS on the internet, it's practically begging to be made into an image macro. PTSD Melody, anyone?

So basically social justice is playing pretend and screaming at everyone else for not following the rules you just made up.

Oh. Oh honey. Learn to blend. Your face and your neck are two different shades. And those crooked glasses aren't doing you any favors.

He already addresses this by saying the movie is 20 years old. View points change across the decades. It's kind of unreasonable to go back and view films that were made years ago and expect them to uphold your personal values.

It's like when SJW's get angry at MST3K because of some gay jokes. Series is done and did. Get over it.

Her expression is of someone trying to not fart for fear of crapping their pants.

Because being offended means everyone has to do exactly as you say and never ever do or say the thing that offended you. That's how life works, right?

It's what their circle jer- I mean, SJW Only zone on Tumblr has taught them.

Then they try to cancel the Colbert Report and see how well it works out in real life.

To me, that is the cannibalistic irony of SJWs.

PoC know their culture better than you. Unless they happen to disagree with middle/upper-middle class white youth.

Then of course, the new wave White Wo/Man's Burden kicks in and they need to explain to said disagreeing PoC what their culture is really about.

This statement actually reminds me of this blog I found a couple months back, but never got by to posting about in the old thread

Feminism means every woman has the right to choose how she wants to dress..

Don’t tell other women how to dress, mind your own fucking business!
To better understand what I'm getting at, if you click on the link you will be directed to a status of a white, blond, middle-class white woman trying to yank the headscarf off of a Muslim woman thinking she's being some great liberator while said Muslim woman is protesting that she let go.

i’m a veiled muslim girl and let me tell you something

i wore the veil because I WANTED to, not because someone forced me. our holy book states that once you get your period, you should cover your hair. some women are 60 and still haven’t worn it. when i reached puberty, i went to my parents and I TOLD THEM that i want to wear it. my parents thought it was too early, but i insisted because this is something that i feel is right.

so don’t go on saying that we’re oppressed. some families do oppress the females, but we’re not ALL like that.

not every woman wearing a veil is oppressed. we just chose to wear that veil like you chose to wear that tiny black dress last night.
if a woman is free to not cover up her body, then why is she not free to cover it up, too?

Support women’s choices, not your choice for women.
The last comment is probably the best criticism towards that kind of mentality among SJWs if you ask me.

Guys, I just found out a friend of mine is apparently a SJW. She just came out as transsexual so I guess it would make sense that she'd feel comfortable with the, um, accepting tumblr crowd but she told me that "social justice warrior" is as scummy a thing to say as "feminazi". Also that words are damaging to society.
I'm really not sure what to do, since quite obviously my beliefs are in conflict with her, uh, political correctness. I still want to be friends and everything but I feel like we can't have conversations anymore :/

I know this girl guy(I don't even know anymore) considers xirself a woman biologically but wants to be called a man. Not surgery, xe has a name for it but I can't remember it ever. So you're kinda in the same boat I was (kinda sorta not really). Since I highly doubt all your personality is trannies and SJWs I'd say talk about other things that interest you both . If they want to talk about being a tranny you should support them to a point. I they go all DIE CIS SCUM on you, it's time to bail.

Give her a while. Everyone is 16 once and it only lasts a year.

She and I do have a fair deal of common ground, we admire each others' artwork and are actually starting a project together. I just found it uncomfortable because I had no idea she was on the side of SJWs until I brought up the Jontron thing and she said he disappointed her. I don't think she's THAT kind of trans, but who knows? It was honestly a little surprising when she told me she wanted to be a woman but I'm glad she can talk to me about stuff like that. I dunno, I'm just rambling now. Thank you for the advice :D

"But the Colbert Report is ending. Therefore, we won despite the fact that Stephen Colbert essentially got a huge promotion..."

This, exactly. Feminism, at it's core, is about equality and the ability for everyone, men and women, to make their own choices and do what's right for them. Not for a select few to tell others what they think is best. People like the one in this story just muddy the water and ruin it for the ones actually trying to make positive change to benefit everyone.
