The last big CnD related to a cartoon I can recall was when the MLP fan project, “Button Mash,” about a background pony on the show was sent one.
Same happened to Fighting is Magic. Hasbro are spergs tho so I’m not surprised.

These edits feel lazy to me. Slapping a dark skin tone on a character doesn't automatically make them black.
Besides that just make your own show about black people instead of doing edits of preexisting characters.

Thanks for adding an ankh and Africa on their shirts it was pretty subtle that they're black now.

I wouldn't necessarily call this SJW because here it reminds me of those old race-bends that weren't entirely engrossed in trying to one-up people for who can be the most progressive. Some examples are stuff from Arthur. You'll see old examples of people making those characters black.

Only in that case you could tell that the people who made it cared. I feel like here is 50/50. On one hand the designs aren't the worst. I've seen worse in this thread and honestly it's pretty harmless compared to what I just went through. This Rugrats work just looks kind of odd. Like, you can tell some skin tones don't work as well because the contrast is so high. (e.g. Phil & Lil). These could work if they were drawn better and not just a high value with high contrast on official artwork.

The excess of ankhs and symbols of africa are pretty telling though. It's not the classic sheltered tumblrina SJW we usually see on this thread, Afrocentrists are more SJW in the way radfems are. They're not intersectional, they don't care about other minorities (and are often very bigoted against other minorities-- radfems usually being TERFs, Afrocentrists being homophobic, etc) they're only focused on themselves. So while the characters aren't morbidly obese triracial crippled gay neurodivergent demiboys, it's still SJW in that they've changed it to spread a specific message, and unfortunately the revisionist obsession with melanin doesn't stop with a positive change in beauty standards but extends as far as calling lighter-skinned races deformed mutants, so.
