Maybe I'm odd in the fact that sexuality rarely if ever a factor in making my characters. I'm too busy with personality, their history and what kind of shenannagans I'm going to toss them in. Looks fall in place depending the world and story I wanna tell(and who the parents are). When it does come to sexuality it go '....bi?'

Mostly cuz I see it as, why limit myself or my charaters and it make for more fun shenannagans.

I can see why she feels the need to edit other people's artwork.

Usually people use "they're just jealous!" to rationalize valid criticism coming from people but like, holy shit, so much of this thread just boils down to "they're just jealous."

I saw this comic, and I immediately knew it had to be about a black queer character, judging from the art and I was right!
As the Crow Flies is a story about Charlie — a queer 13 year old girl who finds herself stranded in a dangerous place: an all-white Christian youth backpacking camp.

plus the author is nonbinary which...isnt too surprising .
theres a comic on her tumblr which she had this hairstyle in 2010 and I thought it looked fucking hilarious.

I remember this comic. From what I read it actually wasn't that bad honestly and some of the artwork( which included landscapes and serene views) was pretty good imo. I could be wrong later on but earlier it was pretty alright.

I can at least say the artist knows how to use colors well.

If I can give some insight into this, Colorism itself is not a new concept created by SJWs as much as you'd liked to think. I'd argue in some societies people prefer to be lighter. It's more of a class issue in most cases. You got darker tending the fields so being light showed you had money. However, with these people, it's always taken to the biggest extreme. Such as there being this huge "conspiracy" to get rid of all darker skinned people (which is bullshit), but I'd argue in some places in the world, the concept is still alive and well.

She isn't black whatsoever. That's like saying if you don't have big lips, broad nose, and pitch black skin, you aren't black enough.
