That might be the most unappealing shade of "brown" I've ever seen? It's baby shit colored? There are so many lovely shades of brown you could have chosen, ESPECIALLY with his bright ass red hair. I can't with these people who don't know any basic color theory. Do they even have a sense of aesthetic at all?

oh good, 'thicc' childbearing hips on a what.. FOURTEEN YEAR OLD BOY? (sixteen at most according to the wiki) it's just disturbing. i know the original character from el dorado has thick thighs and wide hips, (and it's pretty clearly traced/heavily referenced) but that's just.. gross.

i don't even watch boku no hero, but i'm just so bothered by what they did to kirishima by giving him that wretched skintone and gross snaggleteeth. plus, the skin looks even WORSE compared with the blue they used on the outfit. my eyes are burning.

There's the tumblr artists obsessed with making everyone fat, but there's also the trend of making every character 'thicc', ie giving everyone they draw weird fetish-y giant hips. Even if they're literally a 16 year old. But UWU SEXUALIZATION OF MINORS BAD!

I don't get this either. Like, people will (depending on the fetish) have more respect for you if you just admit it. There are plenty of fetish artists like Slugbox that still get decent work even after the fact. Just admit it and move on. You can have a "thicc" character, but not if they're a child. That's just fucking creepy. I know radical fangirls aren't limited to Tumblr, but it's still super creepy when you see that type of art.

I think it's a mix of the social justice pandering, hidden fetishes because they're ashamed, and everything else that's wrong in a fandom. I really don't understand people on the site that make call-out posts on creators having sexy female characters, but then fetishsize yaoi to the nth' degree.
 
It boils down to hypocrites, but I thought the yaoi worshippers were driven out in favor of fetishizing lesbians?

If you still look on tumblr, they're still there, but not nearly as popular as lesbians and transgender people right now. I say after the late 2000's, the yaoi fangirls haven't been the center of attention for awhile. You still get some of the radical fujoshis, but not nearly as much as I remember before 2012. I guess this is due to the fact that after popular shipping fuel like Hetalia stopped being the center of attention many of them matured and moved on.

I think I can blame it on shows like Steven Universe which after it appeared you suddenly got this reassurance of lesbians, and soon to follow, transgender people. Like, it was there before, but not nearly as popular and as much as a fetish until the early 2010's. That's when shit really got rolling.

Tbh, Eastern European people other than Russians rarely appear in western entertainment and can be called "underrepresented". But you know what? In Poland most people don't care about that and don't beg for "more Polish representation in Hollywood blockbusters". And when they actually appears we are usually not "wow, finally" but laugh at bad pseudo-Polish speaks pattern. And from I know, situation is same in Ukraine, Czech Republic, ex-Jugoslawia countries etc.
We are happy of The Witcher success, but don't see it as "LOOK, SLAVIC REPRESENTATION".
And even modern Poland is really monocultural country. There are some foreign students in bigger cities but you don't see a lot of people of other etnicities. After annexion of Crimea and war in Ukraine we have quite a lot migrants from there but they are also Slavic and white so tumblr probably won't care.
Not every country is like New York "group of friends with one of every race/religion/orientation" situation.

Literally all the polish people I have met are blonde, white and have blue eyes. It's so sad that just because they're white sjws just see them as all the same, inc Russians, polish, British. No one looks at Africa and thinks they're all the fucking same.

That applies to any continent. Not all East/West Asian people look the same, not all South American people look the same, but saying all European people look the same is acceptable (even if an Italian person looks way different from a Polish person). It’s more for “ha ha white people are awful and we’re using your insults against you” rather than anything truly based in fact.
